Chapter 2: Flashback

Hinihingal ako habang nakaupo sa bench sa loob ng green house ng school.

Who are these girls? Hindi ako na inform na I have this some sort of a fan's club?

I clearly dont want any spotlight kaya pinili ko ang school na to for me to live a normal life. Most of the students here especially girls are looking up to me dahil lang mayaman ang pamilya ko.

Money is not everything,you know. I looked like i have it all but the sad truth is I don't.

I want a peace and quiet environment. I wanted to enjoy this very moment of my life.

Napatigil ako sa pagiisip nang biglang may babaeng lumitaw sa bench.

Is she one of them? Tanong ko sa sarili ko. Minasdan ko siyang mabuti but when I noticed that she was about to go near me I tried to stand up but she stopped in the front of my bench at yumuko ito as if she is trying to sleep. I usually don't care on how people dressed up but I find them weird for choosing the colors of the rainbow as their fashion.

Narinig kong pinaguusapan nila about the ghost story surrounding the whole campus.
Personally hindi ako naniniwala tungkol doon its just a strategy of the school to cover up the scandal about money and tuitions na biglang nawawala and parents are very furious about it.

I think I'll just go to the library for a while atleast safe nang konti doon dahil nandoon si Ms. Benson na kinatatakutan ng lahat.

I really think na mabait naman si Ms.Benson. Some students just misunderstood her because she is being strict.

Minutes after I got into library the girl from the green house went to library as well. Hindi siguro nito natagalan ang ingay doon. Thirty minutes after, sumunod ang rainbow girls. Pakonti na nang pakonti ang mga tao because most of them has class at 1 pm.

I checked my wrist watch and it says its already 2:30 pm nang may marinig akong maliit na ungol I traced where the sounds coming from at nilapitan ito ni Ms. Benson then I heard a shout.

DAERIM

HHUUUUUWAAAAAGGGG!

Sigaw ko nang may naramdaman akong kamay na sumapok sa akin.

Akala ko patay na ako.
Pero nagising pa din ako hinihingal at pingpapawisan ng malamig.

Mabilis akong tumingin kung may tao pa sa paligid.
Naaninag ko naman maliwanag pa sa labas. Panaginip lang ba lahat?

Kinapa ko yung buong katawan ko at panaginip lang talaga!
Sa sobrang tuwa ko ay inilabas ko ang ulo ko sa bintana sabay lahad sa dalawang kamay.

"Mr. Sun! Oh Mr. Sun! Nandito ka pa!" Hindi ko naman namalayan nakatingin pala sa akin halos lahat ng mga estudyante sa library at tumatawa.
