Joseph was given three days to say his goodbyes to his family. He had spent most of his time with Olivia, who wasn't still happy about his departure. Joseph decided to go have a serious talk with his brother Jordan, so he went over to his place.

"Hey. Can we talk?" Joseph said to his twin after they had gotten comfortable in Jordan's living room.

"Sure. What about?" Jordan replied wondering what could've brought his brother so early in the morning to his place.

"It's about you and Olivia," Joseph replied. Jordan didn't like where this conversation was going.

"I want you to take care of her when I'm gone," he continued staring at his brother, trying to figure out what could be going through his head.

Jordan, on the other hand, was trying to comprehend what Joseph just said. How could his brother be so insensitive as not to realize that he would never be friends with Olivia?

"Jordan, are you listening to me?" Joseph asked making Jordan realize that his brother had been talking but he wasn't paying attention.

"You were saying?"

"I need you to drop whatever it is you have against her and get to know her... Jordan, she really needs someone by her side when I'm away."

"She never said she needed me," Jordan replied uninterestedly.

"Jordan, can you please be honest with me? Why do you hate Olivia so much?" Joseph asked.

"Go find someone else to look after her when you're away. It's not like she is a baby." Jordan replied not even bothering to answer Joseph's question.

He needed to cool off because his brother was already pissing him off with his request, so he headed to his fridge to get a beer. Joseph followed behind not caring about Jordan's attitude.

"Look, I don't care if you accept to do it or not. You're going to take care of Olivia because you're my twin brother!"

Joseph's outburst took Jordan by surprise but Joseph didn't care, he needed Jordan to understand that he had no choice in this.

"Fine." Was Jordan's only reply.

"I know you two don't get along, but please do this for me," Joseph said pleadingly.

Jordan only stared at his brother while sipping on his beer.

"You know how fragile she is and you know that she has gone through a lot. So, I'll need you to take care of her, that way she will be around someone she's familiar with."

If only Joseph had the slightest idea that it was Jordan who was behind Olivia's bullying all along.

"I'm gonna miss you, bro." Jordan suddenly said changing the subject. Joseph smiled at his brother's confession.

"I'm gonna miss you too... You know, you never gave us the chance to spend time together."

"Well that's because all of your attention was towards your girlfriend, 'Olivia' " Jordan stated not forgetting to stress Olivia's name making the both of them laugh.

They chatted for a while before Joseph decided that it was time for him to go.

Joseph was in his room packing his things, and Olivia was with him also helping him tack. She then stopped, went behind Joseph, and wrapped her arms around his torso.

"I don't want you to leave," she confessed.

Joseph turned around to face her and then placed his hands on her cheeks.

"Babe, we already talked about this and you promised not to bring this up again."

"I know, it's just... I'm scared."

"I'll be fine, I promise and I need you to make a promise."

"What's that?" She asked, uncertain about what Joseph was about to say.

"I need you to promise me that you'll get along with Jordan."

Olivia became tense just by hearing his name.

"You know that's not possible," she nervously replied.

"Olivia, I already spoke to Jordan and he's fine with it."

"What?!" Olivia asked surprised.

"That's a lie and you know it. Jordan can never be 'fine' with getting along with me." She said stressing the word fine.

"He is and I'm being honest. So, if he tries talking to you please don't make things difficult for him." He requested.

Olivia realized that Joseph was being serious about this by the look on his face. Just the thought of being on talking terms with Jordan made her nervous and the fact that Joseph was going to be away for a long time made her even more nervous than she already was. She just couldn't buy Jordan's statement of 'being fine with it' it just didn't sit well with her.

"Are you sure about this?" She questioned hoping that Joseph would change his mind about the whole thing.

"You know you shouldn't worry about me. I may not be happy with you leaving but I'm not a kid. I can take care of myself."

"I know that, but you should also use this as an opportunity to get to know him better and maybe clear out whatever grievances you both have against each other," Joseph replied.

Olivia didn't want to know Jordan any further than she already did, but she couldn't say no to Joseph.

"So?.." Joseph asked staring at Olivia with pleading eyes, praying she would say yes.

"Okay...I'll try," she replied. That wasn't what she planned to say but she wanted Joseph to be happy and it worked.

"Thanks, babe. I love you," he said with a bright smile.

"I love you too," Olivia replied, happy that she could make her boyfriend happy with her answer.

They stayed up still packing before they grabbed some snacks and chatted a little then decided they needed to go to bed.
