His Love His Hate

Chapter 22

Olivia decided to move out of the house Joseph got for the both of them because there was no point in her living there anymore. She had called her mom earlier to come pick her up later in the day when she must have been through with packing and cleaning.

She was done with cleaning up the living room and moved to the bedrooms. First, she went into the room Jordan had been staying in, to make sure it wasn't messy before he came back. While cleaning the room, she saw some clothes littered on his bed and decided to fold them and place them back in the drawer when she found some envelopes in the drawer with her name and address on some. She became curious and decided to open one of them.

Olivia received the shock of her life, the letter had been sent by Joseph to her after the time of his supposed death. She was confused and wondered how the letters ended up with Jordan.

Olivia internally searched for answers but the only thought that kept coming back was the possibility of Jordan knowing that Joseph wasn't dead all along and purposely hid the letters. That thought frightened Olivia to her bones. She wondered why he would go that far. The letters were suddenly snatched from Olivia's hand which startled her, she looked up to see an angry-looking Jordan.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" He spat.

"You knew all along?" Was the only sentence Olivia could mutter.

"Why did you lie about Joseph's death?" She asked in tears.

"That's none of your business," he replied violently grabbing Olivia by the arm and dragging her out of the room.

"Let go of me!" she yelled trying to get herself out of his grip.

"Shut up!" He yelled back.

Olivia didn't want to be around Jordan so she continued struggling for him to let go but her strength was nothing compared to his. Jordan got irritated by her actions and slapped her right across the face making her hit the floor and pass out.

Olivia woke up with a pain in the head. She looked around her environment and found out that she was currently in Jordan's car, he was concentrated on the road, driving to God knows where.

"Where are you taking me? Let me go. Please." She pleaded with him.

"Why should I, huh?!" He angrily barked.

"This isn't right, Jordan. Please stop the car," she said but he ignored her.

"You've done enough harm to me already. What else do you want from me?" She continued already frustrated by his silence.

"I thought you hated me? Please just let me go and I promise I won't say anything."

"I won't let you go, you hear me!" He suddenly said, yelling the last part.

"I won't let you run back into his arms!"

Olivia was scared right now. She didn't understand what Jordan was saying and was frightened for her life because they were in the middle of nowhere and she had no idea what Jordan planned on doing to her.

"Why do you hate me so much?" Olivia sobbed.

"I hate you, Olivia. I hate you because I love you. Happy now?!" Olivia was beyond startled by Jordan's confession.

"You paid no attention to me. You only had time for Joseph and never cared about me or how I felt."

Olivia was speechless because she honestly had no idea what Jordan was saying.

"I let him have you the first time. I won't let that happen again. You belong to me."  Jordan declared, driving at high speed and barely paying attention to the road ahead.

Olivia was terrified at the man behind the wheels, he was Jordan but there was something different about him. Olivia then noticed that he hadn't shaved for days and his hair was disheveled. Looking at him right now made her realize that he wasn't sane anymore and needed help.

"Jordan, you need help." Olivia suddenly said.

"Are you calling me crazy?" He snarled at her.

Olivia suddenly felt a sharp pain in her stomach which made her uncomfortable and scared.

"Please, take me home," she pleaded.

"No!" He yelled.

Olivia turned to look at the road and saw an incoming vehicle.

"Jordan, watch out!" She screamed. Before Jordan could realize what Olivia was talking about, their car collided head-on with the vehicle.
