Saturday came like a flash for Olivia. She did a little cleaning that morning and decided to take a nap afterward.
She woke up by 2:00 pm and made lunch. She had braised rice and chicken for lunch. When she was done with lunch, she went into the bathroom to take a long bath. After what felt like hours, she got out of the bathroom in her bathrobe and went into her closet to find something suitable to wear.
She couldn't help but run her hands through Joseph's clothes. God, she missed him so much! Why did he even join the Force? She mentally asked inhaling his clothes, reminding herself of his perfect scent.
"Come back soon," she murmured before getting back to her first mission.
After trying to pick out something to wear for what felt like hours, Olivia still couldn't find anything. She was confused about what to wear because she had no idea where Jordan would be taking her, so she didn't want to be overdressed or underdressed for the date.
'Date' she thought to herself.
Who would've thought that she would one day hang out with Jordan, the guy who scared her to her bones? Letting out a heavy sigh, she decided not to waste any more time and started getting prepared for the date, hangout, or whatever.
Olivia straightened her hair and put on some makeup with a touch of red lipstick. After much contemplation, she finally settled on wearing a black crop top, a forest green pencil skirt with a side slit, and matching stilettos. She got ready by 6:45 pm and started getting nervous.

"Breathe, Olivia, breathe. It's only a date, he isn't going to hurt you or is he?" She wondered picking up her black purse.
Her thoughts became conflicted and she started regretting why she had said a 'yes'. Her thoughts were all over the place when suddenly there was a knock on the door. Olivia flinched at the sound of the knock, she stood up, took a deep breath, and checked herself one last time before getting to the door.
She opened the door and before she stood Jordan was in a black button-up long-sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans, and a grey blazer. He wasn't looking so bad, she thought to herself.
"Hi," she nervously said.
"Hi. You look nice." Jordan said staring at her.
Olivia blushed at his compliment. She couldn't believe that Jordan of all persons was complimenting her.
"Shall we?" He said.
"Yes please," she replied before locking her door and following him to his car.
He opened the car door for Olivia and she got in. She couldn't believe Jordan could be a gentleman. After closing the door, he walked to the driver's side of the car, got in, and started the car to their destination.
After half an hour of driving, Jordan stopped in front of a fancy restaurant and Olivia was glad she chose to wear this. He got out of the car and opened the door for her.
"Thanks," she said and he guided her into the restaurant.
On arrival, they were greeted by a beautiful blonde waitress.
"Reservation for Mr Gilbert," Jordan said to her and she looked at the booklet she was holding.
"You're welcome, Mr Gilbert. Please follow me, I'll take you to your table." She then said and they both followed her.
Their table was upstairs at a secluded spot where you could see the breathtaking view outside.
'This is worth a lot' Olivia mentally said as they took their seats. The waitress then handed them their menu.
"May I take your orders?" She then asked.
Olivia just couldn't understand how fancy restaurants make simple meals look so complicated. She kept staring at the menu not sure what to pick. Jordan noticed Olivia slightly frowning at the menu so he decided to make an order for the both of them.
"We would have number four on the menu. Thank you." He said to the waitress with a smile.
That was island duck, mulberry mustard, and red wine. The waitress returned the smile, took back their menus, and left to get their orders.
Olivia smiled at Jordan and said thank you. She was grateful that he rescued her from that awkward situation.
"It's a lovely place," she then said hoping to start up a conversation and relieve herself from the awkward silence.
"Yes, it is."
"How was your week?" Jordan asked.
"Fine. Everything went smooth."
"Okay," he replied and the silence continued.
"So... You're a fitness trainer?" She said more like asked, breaking the silence once again.
"Yeah."
"That must be a flexible kind of job." she continued.
"Not really. I won't say dealing with about twelve clients in a day is flexible... But I enjoy what I do."
Before they could fall into another silence their order arrived.
"Thanks," They both said to the waitress.
They ate in silence and Jordan kept stealing glances at Olivia who was quietly eating. When they were done with dinner, they remained there enjoying the view outside.
"Olivia?" Jordan began.
"Mmm?"
"I'm... I'm sorry for all I did to you back in high school."
Olivia looked at him surprised and confused at the same time by what he just said.
Did Jordan just apologize? This must be a dream.
"I would like it if we put all that happened behind us and maybe hang out more often."
Olivia had no idea whether or not to give a reply to his confession tonight or maybe think over it and reply later, but he just confessed that he was sorry, so keeping him waiting would be rude on her part, she thought to herself.
"Jordan, I, um... I don't hold anything against you. I understand you were only protecting Joseph's interest. I had always hoped that one day we would be friends. I forgive you."
"So, I guess we're cool now?" He asked.
"Yes, we are," Olivia replied with a smile.
They then decided to take a walk before heading back home. The night was cold making Olivia regret why she didn't bring a jacket along with her. Jordan noticed Olivia shivering a little.
"Are you cold?" He asked her just to be sure.
"No. I'm fine." She lied.
Seconds later Olivia felt something warm on her shoulders and realized that Jordan had taken off his blazer.
"Thanks," she murmured and wore the blazer properly, enjoying the warmth it brought.
After the walk, Jordan drove her home. He stopped in front of her house.
"I had a wonderful evening. Thanks." Olivia said while taking off his blazer and handing it to him.
"Good night,"
"Good night ." He replied.
Olivia climbed out of the car and Jordan drove off when he noticed she had entered her house.
