AN Guys that was a picture of what Olivia looks like in the previous chapter
Olivia was taking a book out of her locker when she heard the last voice she wanted to hear.
"Well, well, well! Who do we have here? If it isn't my brother's little girlfriend!"
Olivia became tense just hearing his voice. She wished it was just her imagination that caused her to hear things because she couldn't face him yet another day.
"How many times have I told you to look at me when I'm talking to you?"
As soon as he said those words Olivia's knees went weak. She quietly turned around to face her worst nightmare 'Jordan'.
He stood before her looking so much like his twin brother, Joseph. They were both 6ft, with the same green eyes, blonde hair, and the same body build and to make things worse they were both on the football team but Olivia couldn't understand why he looked so intimidating. She wondered if she was the only one who saw him that way.
Jordan, as you can tell never became friends with Olivia. He rather enjoyed making her life miserable whenever Joseph wasn't present. Joseph had tried on several occasions to make Jordan see Olivia differently but all his efforts proved abortive.
After all this time Olivia still couldn't figure out why Jordan hated her this much and why he derives pleasure in seeing her hurt. She wondered where she had gone wrong with him to make him have so much hatred towards her. All these years she had tried thinking of what she must have done to him but she couldn't come up with anything. She only prays that someday all of this would end.
Joseph had no idea that his brother was the mastermind behind Olivia's bullying in school and she didn't want a rift between the brothers so she decided to keep it a secret from Joseph.
"What do you want?" Olivia quietly asked Jordan.
"Oh come on, Olivia, you shouldn't be asking that. We're already past this." He replied coming closer to her.
Olivia felt like disappearing into thin air because she was getting stares and murmurs from students who were now watching them and the worst part was that she couldn't walk out on Jordan because he placed both his hands beside her like a trap as her back was pressed against her locker.
"Jordan, please don't hurt me," she begged. Jordan smirked at her plea, glad that he was already scaring her.
"I told you to stay away from my brother," he said, his face only inches away from her.
"I've tried but he w-wouldn't l-listen."
"Well try harder because he listens to everything you say... Tell him you're no longer interested in him."
"P-please Jordan, you know I can't do that. I love him," she replied already in tears.
"So, you think you love my brother more than I do, huh?!" Jordan yelled slamming his hand on the locker. Olivia flinched in fear, taken aback by his sudden outburst.
"You better do as I as say, Olivia. This will be the last time I'll have to warn you." He shoved her against the locker and walked away.
Olivia ran to an abandoned classroom and cried her eyes out. She didn't mind missing her first class, she just wanted to go home already. Why couldn't anyone help her out? Why couldn't someone stand up to him at least once, she wondered?
Rather, they all just stand and watch while Jordan assaults her every day. This is getting too much and she doesn't know how long she would be able to take it.
Olivia managed to attend the rest of her classes but skipped lunch to save herself from further humiliation because Jordan wasn't a guy who bluffs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Olivia!" Joseph called his girlfriend after the final bell when he spotted her among the crowd of students.
"Wait up!"
"Wtf Olivia? I've been calling you for like a million times but you weren't picking any of my calls." He said while trying to catch his breath.
Olivia wasn't in the mood to face Joseph yet because she was scared that her expression would give her away.
"I'm sorry, I put my phone on silent. I guess that's why I didn't know you called." She lied.
"And lunch?.. Why weren't you at the cafeteria?"
Joseph knew something was off with Olivia. He wondered if it had something to do with what they discussed earlier.
"I wasn't hungry," Olivia replied hoping Joseph would stop asking her more questions.
"Can we go now?" She asked.
"Sure. I'll drop you off and come back in time for practice."
"Okay."
Joseph dropped Olivia at her place and drove back for football practice. He knew she was hiding something but he had no idea what it was.
"Olivia, can you just open up to me for once?" He murmured to himself.
