-Present Time-

Currently it was 11:09pm. I was with Spence and one other local Grigori at a 7-eleven, acting as backup in case of a sudden ambush. The only Grigori who went to meet with the exile were two of the highest ranking with their partners. As far as I know there were only five groups of three acting as backup. Spence and our group partner, Minjun were currently snacking on ramen while we waited for any type of signal to mobilize us. The two seemed to get along, I can tell through their communication skills. Talking with a full mouth is one of the most disgusting things to see.

"So haf you guy sween any touwists sites" Minjun asks with food in his mouth

"Na I just wecently got heea. Sawa an ha sista saw BTS in a mweet an gweet." Spence replies with... you guessed it- food in his mouth

"Thas so cool!"

I roll my eyes and smile to myself. They might be gross but they both have this childlike aura surrounding them, sure I might seem a bit cold but that doesn't mean I don't have a heart.

"Speaking of BTS do you happen to know... I don't know something about them?" I ask Minjun

Minjun finally swallows his food and responds back to me clearly

"What do you mean? Like rumors? Cause if that's the case, then your marching onto unmarked territory here."

"No not that, I meant. Like, do you have a list of Grigori who chose not the embrace? And are they like protected from exiles?"

Minjun looks up taking a minute to think about it before he looks back at me and says

"I think if anyone were to know this information, the higher ups would."

"So you think I'll be able to talk to them for a bit after this?"

"Should be able to, we can take you guys to our headquarters and discuss there. You know, for privacy."

I look at Spence and see him thinking about it as he continues to eat his noodles. I nudge him and he looks at me. He gives me that not up to me look and motions to Minjun. I let out a breath of slight annoyance. The thing with Spence was he followed people that he trusted. Sure, he gives his input over superficial things, but when it comes to things that matter, like meeting the higher ups of the country he places his trust in me. I'm not even that much of a reliable leader. I usually just follow what Griffin wants me to do. I sigh and look at Minjun who's waiting for my answer.

"Sure we'll meet them at HQ."

"Great! I can talk to you guys on the way there! I haven't met my partner yet either so I have some questions on how you guys deal with that."

Just then the doorbell chimes letting us know that a potential customer has walked in. Out of habit I chose the seat facing the door, and from what I see it's two people who walked in, wearing dark clothing and completed with caps and masks. They briefly pause at the door to talk and split up so that one goes to the refrigerator case towards the back and another walks to the aisle closest to us grabbing some chips.

The sudden feeling I felt back at the restaurant comes back and I immediately recognize who they are. The one closest to me is a bit shorter compared to his bandmate and I begin to think to myself which two of the seven have decided to buy a late night snack. When the taller one returns I recognize the innocent doe eyes he gives the other. I look away and hope they don't recognize me. The last thing I want to do is bring them into something dangerous, again. Unfortunately, like the rest of my life, luck is not on my side and hear him whisper to his bandmate.
