My Soulmate Hates Spiders Not That I Know That Yet

After a boring month in the hospital I had to renter the real world. Which meant starting school. Tomorrow will be my first day at school but everybody else is already started.

I've always been small for my age but I really hoped I didn't get picked on for it. I have some trouble reading, Bruce says it's because of something. Dyslexia? I think that's what it's called anyway.

"Percy", Steve called "We need to go now"

Despite Steve explaining to me that kindergarten wasn't as scary as it seems I was still on the fence when I found my teacher, Ms. Honey. She smiled at me calmed me down a bit. "Are you Percy Jackson.? Welcome to your new school. Will have sharing time in just a moment"

I looked around for a place to sit. I spot an open seat next to a brown haired little boy, the boy smiled at me so I took that as an open invitation to have the seat. "Hi. My name is Percy. What's your name?" I asked awkwardly.

"Are you want sit with me? Nobody ever wants to be with me" I nod "Okay. My name is Peter Parker.".

"Okay Percy, tell us a little bit about yourself". I stand up shakily not really wanting to be the center of attention.

"Hello. My name is Percy Jackson. I am six years old. Until a few months ago, I was living with my mom and evil stepdad. Now I live with my adopted dad and his family catch up so far things are going pretty well, when I'm not in the hospital that is."

"Why were you in the hospital?", a kid in the back asks.

I gave the kid a funny face "How else am I supposed to get better"

The teacher smiled "Okay. Thank you Percy"

When sharing time finally ended recess begin. I decided to send spend my recess with Peter, unfortunately Peter was getting picked on by the biggest boy in our class. I stumped my way over to The bully. How dare you tease my friend.

"Matt, if you don't leave him alone I'm going to get the teacher." Matt turned on me and Peter ran off, probably to go get the teacher.

"Here to protect your boyfriend, Percy", Matt mocked.

I took a step closer and looked Matt dead in the eye "Here to bully kids half height and a quarter your weight, Matt"

Matt glared at me "That is it" As he tried to hit me I dropped to the floor like Aunt Natasha. Than the teacher made herself known by a cough and a demand of Matt to go the principal's office.

After two more hours of school I was ready to go home. I ran up to Steve when I saw him at the entrance of the school. "Hey kiddo, how was your day? Did you make any friends? Did you-"

"Have a good day Percy" Peter as his Uncle picked him up. Yep I made a friend.

Matt glared at as a teacher walked to his dad's car. "I hate you Jackson" He screamed.

"Okay thanks" I yell back. Steve gave me a stern look. "I will tell you in the car"

Well you're on the car he's staring at me. "Well, what happened."

"I made a new friend his name is Peter. he was getting picked on by that boy so I walked up to him told him to stop and he tried to punch me."

"Are you okay that kid was bigger than you" Steve asks gripping my shoulder.

I huff "He is a bully"

Steve looked up at the clouds as he was driving "Bucky I am so sorry" then he whispered something a tiny punks fighting bigger punks.

I smiled not regretting my friend choice at all.
