die alone

the faint city lights lit up his face a bit, making him faintly glow in the dark. the light making all his facial features visible.

his arms around your waist and you tangle your fingers with his. you leaned your head against his chest as you both haven't moved in thirty minutes.

the cold hair blows slightly against your face, making you slightly cold. you feel goosebumps travel along your skin, signalling that you're cold.

"hey finn?" you whisper.

"hmm?" he hums in reply.

"do you wanna die alone or watch it all burn down together?" you say.

"i'd rather try to hold onto you forever." finneas whispers in your ear. you didn't say anything after that. you just watched the city below you from the rooftop of your apartment.

finneas suddenly pulls you onto his lap so you're facing him.

"cause i know that i love you and i'm not letting go." finneas says. you get so lost in his blue eyes. you put your head in the crook of his neck and cuddle into him.

"if the sky darkens above you, i'll stay by your side in the afterglow." finneas says. there was a long silence after that. you cuddled with him, your fingers playing with his hair at the back of his head. he loved it when you did that. he could fall asleep right there.

you closed your eyes, thinking about how lucky you were to have finneas. the most kindest, funniest and handsomest guy in this whole entire world. you are his and he is yours. couldn't have it any other way.

"when i see your eyes, i know there's nothing i'll ever find better." you mumble. finneas places feather like kisses on your neck and you just hum at his actions.

"i think we'll die alone, together." finneas mumbles against your neck.

"i wasn't looking for you, but you found me."
