it was hot, incredibly hot. you wondered how in the world you were going to perform in this heat. you wondered how the hell the other performers were going to perform in this heat.

you stood on stage, during soundcheck fanning yourself with your hand, trying to get cool but you were unsuccessful.

you sighed and layed down on the floor.

"ok y/n, soundcheck for the set list." someone shouted, you nodded and stood up. the music started to play and you sung along perfectly. no errors or anything, just perfection.

as the soundcheck was coming to an end, you already could see your fans at the gates, waving and shouting your name. you smiled and waved back.

you walked back to the little trailer with you manager and some security guards. most people were here at the festival for your show. you didn't know how but all of a sudden, you became world known around the world and your fame grew and grew. you were nominated for so many awards, including the grammys and you couldn't believe it. it was overwhelming but you felt like it was going by well.

as you arrived at the trailer, you were immediately greeted by air conditioning. you sighed dramatically and fell onto the couch. your mother laughed at you while you groaned.

you say up and closed your eyes.

"you don't know how hot it is outside, just you wait." you say as you squint your eyes and point at her. she laughs and gives you some food.

"oooooh foooooood." you say with a big smile and you begin to eat. she shakes her head at you and you just shrug.

"wait, who else is performing? i forgot, oops." you ask.

"uh, noah cyrus, lizzo, ariana grande, finneas, billie eilish, taylor swift, harry styles and more." your mom says and your eyes widen.

"billie eilish and finneas are here? holy shit!" you exclaim. you were such a big fan of the two. they're music was your everything. not that you weren't a fan of every other artist that was playing at the festival.

"i know you would say that. they're performing today by the way but one show after you. so there's a chance that they might be watching." your manager says.

"you shouldn't of told me that because i will shit my pants if i see them in the crowd. i will lose my brain." you say and they laugh.

"don't worry, you're going to do great. you always do." your mom does and you smile at her.

"thanks mom."

fans were gathered in the mosh pit, waiting for your appearance on stage. you had done this many times before but at coachella? this was your first time. the crowd was bigger than you imagined and you started to get nervous.
