"finn, wake up."

"hmm lemme sleep."

"finn, get up."

"fine, be like that." and with that, you walked away and went outside, into the snow. you walked until you were in front of the bedroom window. the window was on finneas' side of the bed and you made sure that it was open.

you grabbed a handful of snow and made a snowball. you made sure that it stayed in shape. you made sure that your footing was strong and you aimed.

you waited.

and then there was a groan.

you just stood there, waiting for his reaction.

you turned away for one second before you felt something cold hit your back. you gasped and turned slowly. you were greeted by finneas with a smug look on his face with another snowball in hand.

he threw the snowball at your face.

"oh it is on." you say with a smirk on your face as you grabbed some snow and threw it at him. he did the same and soon it became a full on snowball fight.

you grabbed all the snow that you could hold and ran after finneas. you jumped onto his back and slid the snow down his shirt. he tripped and soon the two of you were on the ground as he yelled 'fuck!'.

you fell on top of him as he tried to break the fall but was a bit unsuccessful at that. you looked at him and laughed. he soon began to join. as the laughter died down, you looked at him with loving eyes and he did the same.

finneas was quick to make the first move and kissed your lips. it was slow and passionate, it was a reminder that you both love each other and will always be there for each other.

you both pulled away and smiled at each other.

"i love you." you say.

"i love you more." finneas says.

"come on, we got a christmas eve party to get ready for." you say as you get up and lend a hand to finn.

the christmas party was being held on christmas eve and not on the actual christmas day. you didn't know why but you just let the family be.

it was going to be the first christmas you and finneas have spent together ever since the two of you had gotten together about eleven months ago.

you weren't going on tour with the family but to you, it was okay. for them being away for a long period of time was normal now. you had gotten use to it but you might never get use to the feeling of being alone while they were away.

yes, you had been on your with them several times but the times you weren't with them, you couldn't help but miss everything about finneas.

like his smell, the clothes, the way he smiles and the way he always rubs your hips with his thumb whenever you were nervous. you were going to miss him so much.
