billie was bored, she always is. for her, it was such a slow moving day, she woke up, ate breakfast, pooped, slept, ate lunch and slept. it was almost dinner time but she wasn't hungry. she had decided to go to finneas' place for a bit because she was so bored that she could probably die of boredom.

while driving over to his house, she wondered why he had decided to move into a house by himself. it is a normal thing to do as an adult but billie always wondered that wouldn't you get lonely? she didn't understand why people moved into houses by themselves but she just gave up on protesting about it.

once she arrived, she saw two cars parked in the driveway, leaving no space for her to park her car except at the curb. she sighed out of annoyance and parked at the curb.

for emergencies, billie had a key to finneas' house just in case which also gave her the benefit to go to his place whenever she wanted to for food or just to hang out with him in general, which, surprisingly, he didn't mind at all.

she entered the house and she had noticed that most of the lights were off which meant that finneas was in his 'studio'/bedroom.

she knocked on the wall but stopped when she saw finneas, at his desk, gently pressing his index finger against his lips. billie looked and saw her older brother with a girl, straddled on his lap, face resting against his chest, eyes shut and arms engulfing him in a hug. his right hand stroking her hair while he writes some lyrics down, in his notebook, with his left hand.

"is she okay? she looks pretty worn out." billie asks.

"she's tired, bil. her parents are in a disagreement. she just came here and fell into my arms." finneas whispers. billie becomes concerned but her face turns into a smile.

"so is this your secret girlfriend or something?" billie asks and finneas nods with a big smile on his face. "she's beautiful." bil says.

"she's amazing and so kind." finneas says as billie takes a sit on his bed near his desk. she sees how finneas looks at her, with so much adoration. "my baby girl."

"what's her name?"

"y/n. y/n y/l/n."

"do you like her?"

"i think i love her bil." finneas chuckles as he stops his writing. "she makes me so happy, you can't even believe. she's so caring and kind. she makes me feel so loved and special but like in a very singular way."

"that's corny, but super duper cute." billie says as she smiles. finneas ran his fingers through her hair while he kissed her forehead, his lips not even moving from that position.

"she's been through so much and whenever i have those mental breakdowns, she's always there to comfort me. she always makes sure i'm  okay by texting me in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. she's always there whenever i need help but she's gone through so much pain. it's unbelievable." he rests his hand on your back and draws little shapes which makes her relax in his arms.

"if she's really special, you better hold onto her and never let her go. you know that old phrase ' if you love her, let her go?' " he nods. "that's complete bullshit, trust me, i know from experience." finneas just rolls his eyes.
