"(Y/N)!" I hear South scream out my name, stopping mid sentence.
"Yeah!?" I shouted back. Everyone was scattered across the living room. Each one entranced in my story, even the countries that were there were on the edge of their seats. I have been known to be very descriptive with my stories, sometimes a bit dramatic too.
"Do you want any grilled cheese with your ramen!?" South shouted.
I thought for a moment, opening my mouth to answer, "Don't give her any! Soft stuff only remember!" Phil shouted to them.
I groaned, "I'm going to suffer this week."
"Continue on with the story (Y/N)-Chan!" Japan encouraged with excitement.
I smiled, turning my attention on the excited country. "Ok... where was I?"
"You were at the part where you were reaching for the gun." Soviet answered.
"Oh right! I jerked the gun towards me to stop him from shooting America but ... I wasn't fast enough and he ended up shooting me instead." I then paused thinking for a moment. "I remember falling and America coming up to me trying to stop the bleeding but ... that's all that I remember" 'Besides the strange dream of going down memory lane and what not.' I finished in my head.
"(Y/N) was out for a few days, going into cardiac arrest on day two then woke up today." Soviet finished.
"Russia was driving like a maniac." Germany added, a shiver seeming to run through him. "Never again."
"I wasn't that bad!!" Russia protested.
"Eh I beg to differ." France said, leaning back in the chair besides the couch.
I couldn't help but smile, it feels like ages since I've seen them, since things were like this. "Oh, Canada, how did you guys get here?" I heard America question.
I was curious as well, how did they get here if the machine that Reich used malfunctioned and most likely exploded.
"We or really I built it again with the plan Reich left behind." Canada answered, sliding his backpack off his back. "We all at first thought you were dead ... but when we didn't find any bodies we figured the machine must've worked."
"So you all came looking for us." Poland finished.
"Yep!" Canada said with a bright smile. "And I got the plans to build one here!"
I froze, my smile disappearing instantly. "We can go home?" Phil asked, a smile forming on his face.
"Yep! We just got to build the machine again!" Aussi cheered, excitement sparkling in his eyes.
'They ... they can go home.' I thought, feeling some strange weight on my heart. It felt heavy, I could hardly speak because of the weight.
"Here you go (Y/N)." A cold voice spoke, snapping my out of my thoughts. I look over seeing North with his usual frown on his face.
I forced a smile, "Thanks North. Say thanks to South for me as well." I took the bow of ramen from him along with the fork.
North nodded in response, walking away back into the kitchen. "That was actually smart Canada. But do you know what we need? Material wise anyway." Germany asked, a bright smile on his face.
I wasn't interested in the topic much anymore, I don't know why but ... I'm starting to regret-
"But where are we going to build it? We don't have anywhere to build this large thing. Especially in secret." France pointed out.
I was about to open my mouth to tell them about a secret lab under my building I use to find new ways for cures and a way to help animals. But nothing came out, 'If I say something they'll leave. It will just be me, Benjamin, and Echo.' I thought.
'No, it's not right to keep them here for selfish reasons. They deserved to be home, their home.' I thought, shaking my head slightly.
However, as they discussed it, I could never bring myself to speak up. I stared at my bowl of ramen, loosing my appetite. Echo seemed to sense my ... what's the word ... distress?
She slithered up my chest, wrapping herself gently around my neck like a scarf, rubbing her head against my cheek.
I sat up a little more, wincing as I did so. I listened as their conversation turned into a debate on whether or not they could fit the machine in one of the rooms in the mansion.
I placed my bowl on the table, struggling to stand up. I wanted to stretch my legs, I wanted some air. I need air!
I stumbled towards the patio door, opening and shutting it behind me. The cold air nipped at my face, waking my up in an instant. I took in the cold air, filling the air run down my throat, into the trachea, flowing into my lungs.
Every breath was sort of a struggle, as the cold air made it a bit difficult to breath. A sharp pain struck my stomach, the pain reliever beginning to wear off. I flinched but, didn't bother going back inside. It's too stuffy inside with all the countries.
I watched the different colored trees moved with the breeze, shaking some of the leaves off, making them glide to the ground.
I took a step off the patio, walking along the grass towards the trees. Echo let out a small hiss, as in asking what I'm doing.
"Let's go to our little spot. I -" I lost my words again, slowing down to a stop, looking into the trees. "I just need a little breather from everything."
I then heard a loud bang, causing me to jump and whirl around. Hurting myself in the process, looking around wildly for the source of noise. My eyes landed on the patio where America stood, bending down to pick up a chair. He looked up at me, giving me a confused look, then it flipped into horror and fear.
He ran towards me, confusion took over my fearful features as he sprinted towards me. "(Y/N)! Your bleeding!" America said rapidly. I looked down at my side to see red seeping through my long sleeve shirt.
I noticed America was trembling as he reached out to place his hand on the wound, applying pressure. I winced, biting my tongue to prevent myself from screaming out in pain.
"I must've reopened it when I moved." I said with a light laugh. But America didn't seem to catch the humor in my voice, he was pale and cold sweat was beginning to run down his face. He seemed frozen in place, lost in some sort of memory.
I smile, placing my hand on America's cheek. He flinched in response, but grabbed my hand before I could shrink it away. "I'm alright Ame, the wound just reopened. Nothing serious ok." I told him.
He seemed to relax a little, placing his forehead on my own. I blushed lightly, he was so close I could feel his breath on my lips.
"I was so scared." I heard him whimper. "I was so scared I would loose you. There was so much blood."
My eyes begin to water, I caused all this, all because I was too afraid to stand up to him. All because I didn't want the cops to get involved, afraid he would just be released again. All because I was afraid on how they would look at me when they find out I was a sociopath.
I pushed my guilt down, that all happened in the past, there is now time to dwell on that now. "I'm ok now, I'm here." I told him, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.
"Your right." He said, leaning away. I was slightly disappointed, the warmth of his breath and body moving away, leaving me in the cold air. "It's just us two." He said with a small smirk.
'Huh!?' I thought confused. Echo however looked conflicted, as if trying to decide on something.
Echo's POV
I looked over at America, feeling conflicted. 'Oh no!! Who am I going to ship (Y/N) with now!?' I couldn't decide on who to pair her with who. They would all be good for her!!
I suddenly get a small idea, what if I caused a little trouble. I wonder how Russia or the other countries would feel if they heard America did this.
(Y/N)'s POV
What on Earth is he talking about!? What is he planning!? This better not be a prank! I swear if it is a prank I'm going to kill him!
"Heard you kissed Russia about a week or so ago." America said, his face forming into an angry frown.
'Uh oh.' Was all I could think, my blush deepening. I totally forgot about that, he did kiss me didn't he? Wait it America ... jealous!? Is that why he looks so angry right now?
"I just realized that if you would've died your last kiss would've been with only Russia. I don't like the sound of that at all." He growled, moving closer to me.
I gulped, he looks angry.
Echo's POV
I watched as America took a step closer, a small smirk forming on his features. This is my moment. He won't do anything unless I do something!
I extended forward, slithering onto America's shoulders. I smiled, "Now is my time to shine, and the plan to take affect."
Russia's POV
"Like I said before, the gym won't work! The ceiling is too low." Reich argued.
"Well it's the biggest room in the whole mansion! It would be reasonable to build it there!" France retorted.
I rolled my eyes, looking out the window to see America and (Y/N) talking. Wait a second ... is America smirking? I stood up, walking to the window.
My blood boiled as America was merely centimeters from (Y/N). I then notice Echo wrapping her body around him as well as if in welcome.
Then the gap was closed, I glared at America. Clenched my hands into fists. "What is it Rus- oh no he didn't." I heard North next to me, his voice transforming into a growl.
(Y/N)'s POV
All of a sudden the gap between us closed, his lips crashed onto mine. I tensed up out of shock. But I wasn't the only one caught by surprised, so was America. A blush forming on his face, mine forming along with his.
His hand on my wound pulled my forward, pressing his body onto my own, relaxing into the kiss. I rolled with it, following his lead, relaxing into it as well.
His kiss was so different from Russia's. Unlike Russia's his was slightly more dominant. I felt a his arm go around my back, a sharp pinch by the wound, causing me to gasp and pull away.
"Sorry, has to cause a little distraction for this." America said with a slight stutter. I looked down at my side to see a needle. "It's to help with pain but I've been told by your cousin that it could ... well hurt a lot."
I raised a brow, "Uh huh, did he also tell you I have a high pain tolerance?" I took out the needle, handing it back to America. He took it without hesitation. "Nice excuse." I said crossing my arms.
He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Thanks, I came up with it on the spot." He said, his confidence growing.
He took his hand under my chin, lifting it a little. "I can cause another distraction if you want." He said with a smug look.
My heart begin pounding like a drum, excitement sparkling in my eyes. At the same time I felt intimidated and guilty. Russia did get to kiss me, but I can't help but feel that wasn't on purpose, same to what happened earlier with America, he was even shocked too.
But I couldn't help but wanting more, the same thing happened with Russia as well. I was about to take a step towards him till I loud voice boomed, "America! You motherf&@*er!"
Benjamin's POV
I pressed on the glass petal, zooming through the streets. 'There is no way!? Why!?' I thought, anger, fear, and despair all mixed together.
I sped around the corner, drifting a little. "Why would she do that!? To her own flesh and blood!?" I screamed, then I see a black van in my review mirror.
"Son of a-" I turned sharply avoided a black van shooting out from another street. Benjamin dodges it with ease.
"This is going to be a long day."
