The clock could be heard ticking by, each tick seemed to increase the tension. Each one of us seemed to be having a staring contest, no one blinking nor moving. Everyone was on edge, each one of them was either confused, scared, angry, or all three.
"How did we get here?" A man with short dark brown hair, a scar over his eyes brow, hazel eyes, and light skin, spoke in a British accent, breaking the silence.
"That's what I like to know." A skeleton with red pen pricks and a golden tooth growled, glaring straight at me.
I gulped, I'm going to have a whole lot of people hate me in about a minute or two. I let out a sigh, offering them a light smile, "The machine I was building ... malfunctioned."
"Which means?" A man with black eyes, short black hair, and light skin questioned, his single hand being placed on his hip, a gold ring gleaming in the light.
"It means we are stuck here." The women looking similar to my looks and age spoke, standing up with her arms crossed. Her red and blue eyes seemed calm, like as if this happened to her many times before.
"Well ... can't you turn it back on?" The women with blue eyes questioned, looking up at me confused. Her own similar features to my own seemed contorted into confusion, as if trying to find a solution to the problem at hand.
"It's ... not that simple. I didn't even know it works until a few seconds ago." I told them. I gestured to the now knocked over machine, "Besides I don't think it will be up and running anytime soon."
"Then fix it." A man with tanned skin, a scar over his lip, short brown hair, and bright golden eyes spoke in a hard tone.
"Like I said it's not that sim-"
"Looks pretty simple ta me. Just flip the thing back over." The skeleton with a golden tooth growled, seeming to grow more and more frustrated as time ticks by.
I take a small step back, holding my hands up in a surrender like fashion. "Fell, calm down." The skeleton with white pin pricks and a blue jacket spoke, placing a hand on the other skeleton's shoulder.
I could feel the tension increase as everyone begin to stand, each one of them either looking at me with so much hatred or ... what looks like sympathy. Silence fell over us once more, the sound of the clock ticked by. I glance down at my phone, silently wishing for them to come back already.
"I know what you are." The black haired man stated, glaring daggers into my blood red eyes. "You're a clone of (Y/N), created by the templars!"
I looked at him confused, aren't templars knights of the church that were sent out on a mission to claim the "holy land"?
"Do you guys seriously not know about the alternate universe theory?" The skeleton with a blue jacket questioned, looking at the men as if they just said they didn't know what ice cream was.
"Alternate universe theory?" The man with golden eyes question.
"Don't bother tryin to explain to them. They are clearly just some brutes made ta kill." The one with a golden tooth spoke.
"SaYS a BruTe mAde To KiLl." A glitchy voice says. I look for the source of the voice to see a black skeleton with blue lines running down from his eye sockets like tears, a black jacket and a red shirt underneath it.
"Shut up!" The skeleton with a golden tooth, Fell the other one seemed to call him, growled. Glaring at the black skeleton who just returned his glare causing Fell to flinch slightly.
"Guys let's all just calm down." The girl with blue-green eyes spoke, getting in between the two growling skeletons. They seemed to listen to her, taking a step back away from one another.
