Poland

Sirens filled the air as plains flew across the sky, however the colors weren't our own. I ran through the city, shouting orders at civilians, telling them to get inside. Then the first bombs dropped, the explosions were loud, the ground trembling, buildings crumbled.

I looked around in alarm, at a loss for words. But one thing slipped out in the chaos, "Poland." I whirled around, running through the city, dodging falling pieces of buildings, jumping over small fires that lit up across the streets.

I skidded to a stop, as a bomb landed merely twenty five feet away. The explosion knocked me onto the ground, something slicing across my eye as I fell. All I could hear was the high pitched ringing, as I blink open my good eye seeing a blue of red and white. Soon my vision cleared, seeing Poland in his military uniform crouching down next me his, his white eyes were filled with worry. "(Y/N)!" He shouted, the ringing in my ears fading away. "Oh thank god." He sighed in relief, lifting me up from the ground slightly, placing me in his lap. "Just stay awake, help is along the way." Poland said softly, rubbing his thumb along my cheek.

I heard something click, "I wouldn't be so sure about that." I looked over to see Soviet Union and Third Reich aiming their guns at both of us, both had a wide grin on their faces. "Surrender to us now, and we won't kill her." Third Reich said, aiming his gun at me.

Poland pulled me closer to his chest protectively, glaring at Reich. He then looked down at me, I shook my head. He can't surrender, he can't give up his land to these two monsters, they would destory him and his people or worse ... torture them.

Poland then let out a sigh, "I ... surrender." He closed his eyes, slumbing in defeat. Reich smirked, "Good."

He then grabbed ahold of Poland, yanking him away from me. "No! Wait!" He screamed out, as he began to struggle against Reich's grip. "Poland." I whisper out, trying to push myself up. However, a foot was placed on my back, pinning me to the ground. Tears welled up in my eyes, as I screamed out, "Poland!"

I lurch upwards, tears running down my cheeks. I looked around, expecting it to be the battlefield, only to see I was in a dark room. The moon's light shone through the blinds, decorating the room in silver. I heard a groan from next to me, "(Y/N) why are you up so early?"

I look over to see Poland, sitting up and rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Sorry love, did I wake you?" I ask, struggling to gain back my compurse. It was all just a dream.

Poland looked at me with a worried look, "Were ... you crying?" He asked, placing a hand on my cheek, wiping a stray tear.

"U-um no no, It's just the ... the cold breeze you know." I stuttered out, wiping the tears with my hands.

"Honey, there is no breeze inside the room." Poland stated with a chuckle.

I laugh nervously, "Oh ... yea I knew that."

Poland's smile fell slightly, "What's going on krolik?"

I let out a sigh, "Just a nightmare Poland, nothing more." I look down at my hands, finding them the most interesting thing at the moment.

"The nightmare about what happened on that day?" Poland asked. I flinched in response, my shoulders tensing up. I hear Poland sigh, grabbing a hold of my chin, turning my head to look up at him. "That is all in the past, it will never happen again." He then leaned forward, kissing the scar over my eye. "I will make sure of it." He finished, sounding highly determined.

I smiled softly at him, wrapping my arms around his neck, he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around my waist. He then pushes me away slightly, I looked at him confused for a moment until I felt lips placed onto my own. I was shocked at first, but then melted into the kiss, placing my hands onto the sides of his face.
