I balance myself on the ladder, I much prefer just climbing onto of stuff to reach something, however I can't reach the top of the tree without the ladder. I tried climbing the tree one year ... let's just say that was a huge mess.

I tense as the ladder wobbled underneath my feet slightly, grabbing onto the ladder quickly. "(Y/N), what are you doing?" I hear a familiar British voice ask.

"Um ... putting the star on the tree." I answered, climbing the rest of the way up.

"But, you don't even have the star." Britain pointed out, gesturing to the star on the ground.

"Oh ... whoops." I say, beginning to climb back down.

"Don't worry, here love." Britain said, holding up the star. I smile, "Thanks." Taking the bright golden star out of his hands, putting it onto the tree.

"I'm going to fix myself some tea, want anything?" Britain asks, walking away towards the kitchen.

"No thanks." I answer, hooking up the star to one of the cords on the tree. "Alright, let's see if this will work." I begin my descent down the ladder, before it wobbled once more. I freeze in my tracks, tensing up. Once it was balanced once more, I climb down the rest of the way. "I hate ladders." I grumble.

I then pick up the plug to the Christmas tree, plugging it into an outlet. The tree lit up, the lights on the tree sparkled and flash in many different colors. I look up at the star, seeing it glow gold. "It works!" I cheered, throwing my hands up.

I then smirk, an idea coming to mind. I run upstairs, running into my bedroom. I shuffled through my closest, finding a Santa hat. "Aha gotcha!" I then place it on my head so I won't misplace it and have to search for it again. I then went over to my desk, picking up a sheet of paper and ribbing it up into small pieces.

I then take a pen from the mug on my desk and write down each country's name. Once I was done, I take off the hat and place each piece of paper in the hat. I then run out of my room shouting, "Everyone in the living room!"

I sit down on the couch, waiting for everyone. Once everyone was gathered in the living room, I stood up with a bright smile. "Why did you gather us here?" America asked.

"Simple! I got an idea for Christmas!" I exclaim with a bright smile. I hold up the Santa hat saying, "Let's do a secret Santa! That way everyone gets something!"

I then hold out the hat, not waiting for anyones reply, "Pick one! If you get you then just put it back and get another one." America stepped up first, taking out a slip of paper and looking at it before going over to sit down. Then, reluctantly, Belarus went next. After that everyone seemed to follow suit till there was one left. I took it out of the hat, opening it to see I got Japan.

"Alright, everyone knows their person? Cool! Let's go to the mall!" I shout, slipping on some sandals and running out of the door grabbing the vans keys as I went.

                                                                *****************************

I woke up early the next day, my gift was already wrapped and ready to be opened. I picked it up and carried it out of my room, walking downstairs into the living room and placing it under the tree. I then finished up decorating the living room before going into the kitchen.

I pulled up the recipe on my phone for homemade cinnamon rolls. I made the batter and the icing. Once they were ready to cook I place them in the oven, then moved on to the eggs. "Something smells good." I hear someone say from the doorway. I look over to see Poland walking into the kitchen.
