Chapter Two
(Josephine)I couldn't believe that I did that to a prince. Well, I didn't even know that he was a prince at first. Like, is he should have some security guard by his side instead of his friends. And especially, a prince should have good manners towards people that surround him. He doesn't even say the words. Instead, he bumped me and walked through and didn't even care about me. Why is he even a prince if he treats other people like that?
And most important, why I didn't notice that he is a prince? Well, it explains earlier that loads and loads of girls taking pictures with him, that I didn't know he is a prince there, they only called him by his name, not 'Prince' something like the professor earlier.
God, I am so screwed.
After the tour and all, Joey and I decided to go and head for lunch at McDonald's. As we ordered and paid for food, we go to a booth for us to sit on and eat.
As we both sit down and start eating. Joey talks more about this prince that I need more details on, before I could walk along the streets. All I know that he's rude. Very rude. Why is he even rude? My father was right, and should have listed all of the warnings he gave me.
Joey told me everything about this guy. She told me that in every newspaper, news on television, or anywhere, he is always at the pubs with his rude friends. Drinking, and always breaking their royalty rules-purposed or not, he did it-which I don't even know what they are.
She also told me that he isn't that rude and cruel when he was nine? She wasn't sure. Joey said there was this incident that had happened before, and a few months after that occurrence, he was in a picture. Showed up in front of their royal home with his new family, and has a frown on his charming face.
When he turned twelve, it started showing this kind of attitude. He became rebellious, the once simple and loving little boy is now feed by cruelty and disrespect.
Roaming around the streets, being rude to everyone but very charming to every girl who fancies him. They don't even know why he's like that, but what she heard is that because of the Duke, his step-father, or the Duchess, his mother.
After we eat and are done chatting about this prince-I am still stunned about it, but I need to move on. But I can't. I couldn't, which is worse. The scene keeps repeating inside my head.
We went to go to the shop, to buy ourselves some foods to put in our mini-fridge, and a few kinds of stuff we needed for next week's classes. I also bought a few materials for my studies. We went back to our dorm and got out again to pick up some of our mail, but we didn't know where the place is. So, by the chances we're in the court, we saw Harriet walking, about to go out of the building.
"Harriet!" We called her as she spins around, confused painted on her face, but soon smiles when she saw us.
"Yeah? Anything wrong?" She asks.
"Uhm... We just wanted to ask, where could we get our mails?" Joey asks kindly, as Harriet smiles.
"Well, I was about to go there to get my mails as well. So, follow me." She smiles. These people always smiling. I wish I could too.
I shake the thought away from my head as we follow her to the mailroom, where it's very packed and full of mails. When I saw mine, which contains two medium boxes that have my name on it, inside is my pillows, a few clothes, books and other stuff that I needed. Mine is only two, so it is simple for me to take it only a one way trip to my room, especially since the other box is only my pillows, which is very light.
