Chapter 7: Beautiful and Handsome

Johnny's POV:
I rang the doorbell and for some reason felt nervous. Once the door opened I saw little Hayley standing at the door.
Hayley: hey John!
Johnny: hey Hay!
I leaned down and gave her a hug as she returned it
Hayley: you're here for Annie correct?
She said pulling away from the hug
Johnny: yep!
Hayley: I'll go get her for you, but you can come in for now
Johnny: thanks
Hayley: of course!
She stepped aside for me to walk in. I soon noticed Miss Katie in the kitchen. She turned around and walked over to me.
Katie: hi Johnny!
Johnny: hi Miss Katie!
She greeted me with a hug that I gladly returned as well. Soon enough Miss Katie pulled away.
Katie: you looks amazing!
Johnny: thank you!
Katie: so 11 strong years huh?
She asked as she began making her way to the stove once again
Johnny: yup! And hoping to make it 12 next year
Katie: oh you two will make that mark for sure
Johnny: I can't see us not making it
Katie: neither can I. So what are your plans tonight?
Johnny: well I made dinner reservations for us and I have a few other plan up my sleeve including our usual walk in the park
Katie: you can't break tradition
Johnny: you couldn't be more correct
Katie and I talked for another minute or two until I noticed Annie walking down the stairs. She was wearing this black dress that clung tightly around her body which showed off every curve. Her hair was curled at the ends and she had lightly done her makeup and used lip gloss that made her lips the color of a cherry blossom. I couldn't help but stare
Johnny: w-wow...you look beautiful
I said with a smile.
Annie: and you look handsome
She said while returning the smile. I looked down and I had completely forgotten about the flowers in my hands
Johnny: o-oh these are for you
I handed the flowers to Annie and she gladly accepted them
Annie: peonies? You know me so well!
Johnny: well I mean you'd figure after knowing a girl for 11 years you'd know her favorite flower
Annie: your too sweet! You wanna get going now?
Johnny: s-sure
Annie: ok, let's go. I'll cya later mom
Katie: alright sweetie you two have fun and stay safe
Annie: we will
We walked out the house and I closed the door behind us. I stepped down the small step that lead to the door and held out my hand to help Annie down.
Annie: your such a gentleman. I'm kinda jealous of your future girlfriend
I laughed along with Annie as we made our way to the car. I opened the passenger door for her and she entered the car. I looped around the car and made my way into the drivers seat.
Annie: so where to first?
Johnny: well I made dinner reservations for us so we'll be doing that first...as long as that's alright with you
Annie: yeah no it's fine...as long as I'm with you...that's  all I really care about
Johnny: ...me too
I was hesitant on connecting my hand with Annie's, but part of me couldn't. Part of me thought it wouldn't do any good for us...so I didn't and I drove off as we talked

So I want to make this an ashannie story but Johannie would be sf cute in this story. Now I just wanna scrap this whole book and make a Johannie book but I'm not. Maybe I'll make a Johannie book in the future. We will see.
