Chapter 19: He's Jealous

Annie's POV:
I lied on my back and stared at my ceiling with tear stains on my cheeks. I brought my hands up to my face. I felt like screaming. What are these emotions I'm feeling. I have a crush on a guy who was a complete dick to me today. Then I have a crush on a guy who has never done anything to me but I barley know him. What the fuck is going on.
Hayley: hey Annie?
I sat up and saw Hayley standing by my door
Annie: yeah?
Hayley: are you ok?
Annie: yeah I'm fine
Hayley: ok
Hayley began walking into my room
Annie: Hay I'm fine
She proceeded walking and sat next to me on my bed
Hayley: you don't look fine. You look awfu-
Annie: you don't have to tell me...
Hayley: what happened?
Annie: well to sum it up I went to the Orlando household to tutor Asher and Johnny got mad. They started fighting, I told them to stop, then Johnny brought up Caleb...but in the bad way
Hayley's mouth suddenly dropped
Hayley: WHAT A BIT-
Annie: I don't know how to feel about him anymore...I think I like him even after that...I don't understand why though
Hayley: I mean...I don't think he meant it?
Annie: your just saying that because you ship us
Hayley: no I'm not...maybe-but think about it. He got jealous that you and Asher were spending time together. Due to that he got mad. He blew up and said something he didn't mean. All of this was because he was jealous. The Johnny Orlando I know would never say anything like that. He's a sweet boy Annie.
Annie: but-
Hayley: he's jealous. What are you not understanding?
Annie: I don't know Hay
Hayley: well in my opinion I think it's kinda cute! He got all mad or whatever because he wants to be with you. He doesn't want you to be with Asher
Annie: so? doesn't mean he can say that
Hayley: did you even tell John you were tutoring Asher?
Annie: uh-
Hayley: just tell him next time and he should be fine with it
Annie: why should I?! He-
Hayley: now enough chit chat I've gotta go
Annie: go where?
Hayley: I'm going out with one of my friends. His mom is coming to pick me up
Annie: OOoOoOoo 'his' mom. Is this the-
Hayley: the boy I told you about? Yes, yes it is
Just then I heard the doorbell ring
Hayley: that must be him
Hayley ran down the hall as I headed after her
Annie: wait does madre know!? I need to meet him
Hayley stopped at the top of the stairs
Hayley: fine! You might as well answer it while your at it
I walked down the stairs to the door and opened it. My smile grew wider when I saw an adorable thirteen year old boy with his mom by his side. I extended my hand out towards the mother and spoke
Annie: hello ma'am I'm Annie, Hayley's older sister
Coco: hello I'm, Coco, Avi's mother
Annie: so you're the famous Avi Hayley's always talking about
I said as I looked at the boy.
Avi: that's me
He stuck out his hand for me to shake
Annie: well it's nice to meet you both. I'll go grab Hayley real quick and I'll be back. In the mean time come in and sit down
Coco: thank you so much Annie
Annie: no thank you for taking Hayley out today. She's going to have so much fun
I invited them in and they sat on the couch. I walked up the stairs and made my way to the hallway. I saw Hayley pacing back and forth nervously
Annie: little sis got a blondie I see
Hayley: shut up!
Annie: geez. What are you so nervous about? It's not like this is a date. You're twelve and he's thirteen. Plus his mom is going
Hayley: I know it's not a date but I can't be nervous!?
Annie: I was-
Hayley: do I look ok? Honest opinion.
Annie: Hayley you look fine...stop acting so bipolar and get your booty down there
Hayley: alright...You coming?
Annie: sure
I walked down with my nervous sister. Once her eyes landed on the boy on the couch I saw her smile arise. Avi turned around and gave her a smile.
Avi: hey
Hayley: h-h-h
I hit Hayley's arm in attempt to stop her stuttering. My attempt was successful...surprisingly
Hayley: hey
Coco: so you kids ready to go?
Avi: yeah
Hayley: yup
I walked them all to the door and said goodbye
Annie: alright Hay be home by seven alright?
Hayley: ok Annie
Annie: remember to have your phone on you at all times
Hayley: alright Anns
Annie: if anything happens just call mom and if she doesn't answer call me, ok?
Hayley: got it
Annie: make sure too behave
Hayley: I will
Annie: and don't forget-
Hayley: bye Annie
Hayley ran off the front step along with Avi.
Coco: don't worry, she'll be fine and I'll make sure to have her home by seven
Annie: thank you
Coco: of course
Coco walked off and I closed the door behind her I thought to myself for a quick second. I'm such a mom. Ugh! Who have I become? I walked up to my room to FaceTime Jayden because who else would I FaceTime? Well...normally I'd FaceTime Joh-that back stabbing son of a bitch, but by the looks of it I won't be speaking with him for a while. I still have one question to ask myself...why do I still like him? Why do I still feel this way towards him? Even after he acted like a dick...I still feel the same emotions I felt towards him before? Ugh! I hate myself
