Why did the look he had on his face seem so shady?
You looked up at him, with one brow raised. "T-Todoroki," you mumbled, having a hard time letting words escape your mouth, "come h-here."
He walked towards you, with a worried look plastered onto his face. "Yes, (L/N)?" He asked, ready for you to blurt out what you need to tell him.
"What's w-wrong? S-sorry that I'm h-having a hard t-time speaking."
"What do you mean? Everything is perfectly fine." He scratched the back of his neck, waiting for you to ensure that everything was truly fine.
"Okay. It just s-seemed like you were trying to k-keep something from me... I'm right here if you ever need to talk about a-anything."
"I can't really tell you right now, but I'll tell you when you get back to school. Also, your speech seems to be improving by the minute. Still rest your vocals, they'll recover better if you don't speak for a little longer."
"O-okay..." You stopped talking instantly, after he had told you that. He seemed like a generally trustworthy friend, so you believed him, even though, scientifically, that was all true.
He looked back behind him to see if anyone was looking, because for some reason he must've been embarrassed or something in that matter. When nobody was looking, which nobody was, he took his right hand, and rested it on the side of your head. Exactly placed on top of the split above your left ear. Chilling sensations erupted from his fingertips onto the injury. Luckily, it was controlled, not letting it be obvious that he was trying to help rest your nerves.
When he let go, you looked into his eyes, and saw fear. He was worried about you, but still had yet to get something off of his chest.
"H-hey," you whispered, "why do you have a burn on your left eye?"
He suddenly looked like he hated the thought of it. You were so confused. If only he was actually honest with you.
"I'll do anything to make you smile, I just never want to see you cry."
