(Y/N) left the hospital that same day, following Shoto to his home for the remainder of their internship with the Number Two Pro Hero.
It was quiet, given the only subject to speak of happened to be what had happened the night before.
"So," (Y/N) spoke, trying to begin a conversation. "How are you?"
"I'm my normal self, only with a few scratches more than usual," the dual-haired boy spoke.
"I see... Is there anything to talk abou-"
"Please don't put yourself that close to danger again..." He spoke, interrupting her thought. "You've already been in so much pain this year, the first being unintentional."
"Well, if I run from the danger when nobody else can help," she paused, looking up at her boyfriend. "Then who will?"
"You truly are weird."
"I want to be a hero. I might not have such a tragic backstory, being born in America, but I've seen what people do out there. They'll see a problem and nobody will be there to help. They'll just sit there and stare at the situation at hand, then run for their lives. The attack of September 11th, 2001, I wasn't there to help. I was too young, but if I was there, I would do my best. And now that quirks exist, I feel that since evil is even worse than it was then. How about the Titanic? They even want to make a second one, if it sinks, I want to be there to save people on the ship. But there's more than that, little kids being hurt by their parents, I want to stop this abuse," tears began to well up in her eyes as she ranted about these terrible things. "I just want peace in the world. I want to be the next symbol of peace. All around the world, not just in Japan. I don't want people to have to worry anymore... I-I don't want my b-brother to worry anymore..."
She began to wipe a stray tear that had fallen from her (e/c) orbs, only to be pulled to the side.
"I just want you to be safe, (Y/N). I was afraid that I might lose you, but I didn't. You're strong... I just wish that I was able to believe people, but from my old man's lies... I have trouble. You know? I can't trust anyone as easily as I could earlier this year. Now I have trouble trusting that you'll be safe at U.A."
"I know that with you, I am safe. Even if I'm not able to use my quirk, because you'll always be there for me."
"And it will stay that way forever, (N/N)."
For some reason she felt at ease when he called her by the nickname that her parents had chosen for her at a young age. It was calming to hear it come from someone she felt such strong emotions for. Almost so much that-
There she went, out like a light. Her eyes closed slowly as she fell to the ground, her knees being the first to give in.
"(Y/N)?! Oh god, what the hell just happened..? Are you okay?" Shoto panicked at the sudden sleep that overcame her body.
She didn't say anything, only soft breaths came out of her mouth.
As soon as she was on the ground, she was back in the air, Shoto having to carry her the entire way back home. Even though he had to carry her entire body weight, the sudden motion caused adrenaline to flow through his veins. He felt that he needed to get her in a safe place to rest quickly and find what made her pass out so suddenly.
"I'll do anything to make you smile, I just never want to see you cry."
