Rapidly, you darted off of the bus, making your expedition to the best place possible-- your home. Jogging up the stairs of the complex, making your way to the second staircase, you slightly moved your (e/c) orbs to stare down at your slightly untied shoelaces. The fact that they were becoming untied irritated you, so you decided to kneel down quickly to tie them.
When you jumped up enthusiastically, you suddenly tripped, realizing that you tied one shoe and not the other. You felt something hold you, breaking your fall. Someone had grabbed onto your torso tightly so that you wouldn't end up breaking your nose, as it seemed like that was going to happen since your arms were behind your back. You looked up, seeing one ocean blue eye staring at you, white hair covering the other. Todoroki stood there, smiling at you, giggling at the fact that you had just done something so ridiculous.
"What? Are you laughing at me because I'm an idiot?" You asked, glancing up into the boy's eyes.
"No. You're not an idiot, silly. I just think it's funny that your pet peeve got the better of you. Your shoes weren't even untied!" He smiled, letting go of you to let you tie your other shoe.
"I-I had no idea that we lived in the same apartment complex." You mumbled, rubbing the back of your neck, trying to hide your embarrassment that you had just caused a second ago.
"Me neither! What a coincidence. I've got to go, though. My 'dad' will get mad at me if I don't come home soon."
"Why did you say 'dad' like that? You sounded like you don't like him or something."
"I-I'll explain later. Bye."
"Bye." You waved back at him, watching him sluggishly walk off to his apartment. You jolted up the stairs, to end up on the top floor. When you found your home door, you opened the door, to reveal screaming.
"What's going on?" You questioned, staring at your parents in confusion.
"Nothing, honey. Just go to your room while I talk with your father." Your mother calmly stated, looking back at my dad like she was holding a grudge. It sort of reminded you of Bakugou.
Once you had shut the door to your room, they started screaming all over again. What was the point of having me go to my room when I could clearly hear their conversation?
They started cussing each other out suddenly and you finally decided to cancel them out by talking to Todoroki. You looked through your contacts to find one that said, 'Icy Hot'. You snorted, knowing that it was him. Obviously, you had never seen this contact in your phone. When you tapped on the contact, it revealed all of the information and the buttons required to communicate. Your orbs dropped down to the description. He put in one sentence, apparently. Don't make me use my left side. You wondered what that meant. Could he have another side of him that I don't know about? Was he literally speaking about his left side? There were too many questions going on in your head so you decided to text him, asking him if he was available to talk now.
