Usually a normal freshman in high school would dread waking up at 5:30 am to get ready for school. Not (Y/N). She enjoyed making the most of her day instead of sleeping until the last minute. It stresses her out to have to do everything in five minutes max. Taking her time was the only thing that she needed to be a happy camper.
Sadly enough for her, this was the day her parents would leave for Arizona. She had everything packed to leave the apartment, nothing was on the walls, her bed was now a comforter on the floor, and there were boxes everywhere. "(Y/N)'s Desk", "(Y/N)'s Closet", and most importantly, "(Y/N)'s (something you love) Stuff". This was the stuff that she couldn't live without, honestly. If she left this apartment without it, she would literally cry.
In a couple hours she would be saying "Adios" to her family, which was something that she most definitely wasn't ready to do. She knew that U.A. would keep her safe and she would be all alone in the 1A dorm building. How lonely...
She quickly flicked up her lightswitch to realize how her eyes were NOT ready for the immediate lighting change. They adjusted in like 30 seconds to her luck, so she was able to locate what she needed.
Tripping over box after box to get to her closet, she eventually opened the door to the small walk-in closet and walked inside. There her one U.A. uniform hung, lonely and unwrinkled. Quickly grabbing her uniform, she walked out of her closet to grab a towel and head towards the bathroom.
After minutes of a nice warm shower, "taming the wild beast", and putting on light mascara, (Y/N) walked out of her bathroom, heading back to her room to get everything out of her room. This was where her quirk came in very handy while she was at home.
Using her mind, she lifted the boxes effortlessly and started walking into the living room to place everything on the empty floor. Now her room only consisted of her (f/c) walls, shaggy carpeting, and the bedding situation that she really needed to get into a box.
"Eh. I guess I'm almost done... Just need to-"
"(Y/N)!!! SHUT THE EFF UP! I'M TRYNA FRIGGING SLEEP!" Her mother doesn't cuss, so here she was, screaming at her to shut her pie-hole.
"Sure... And I'm the loud one." She rolled her eyes at her mother's comment and went into her room to get the bedding into a better place.
All right. Everything was done and this was where she said goodbye and left for the dorms.
"MOM! I GET THAT YOU WANNA SLEEP BUT I'M LEAVING. SO COME GIVE ME A HUG OR DON'T FOR A WHILE!"
"AHHHHH!!! I'M COMING!!!"
Her mother rushed into the room, her father behind, rubbing his eyelids. They hugged, her brother woke up, hugged again, then she brought everything and headed for the streets. Yes, this sounds like she's a hobo in that particular phrase, but she literally just walked out to the street.
While getting stares from many people since they saw floating boxes and her in a U.A. uniform, she got one comment.
"Hey! Good luck at the Sports Festival!"
Wait. The Sports Festival.... Uhhhh
"OH SHIT THAT'S TODAY!"
TIME SKIP!
There were so many people crowding the stands. Was she expecting to see so many people here? Yes and no. Was she ready to perform IN FRONT of the entire world? HELL NO! But did she have to? Unfortunately, yes.
(Y/N) was shaking while standing next to her group of friends, kinda in the middle between the Baku-Squad and Deku's small group of nerds. She's definitely a nerdy kid, but also enjoys talking to the people that can stand Bakugou's rage. It's kinda interesting: what (Y/N) finds in people that makes her enjoy talking to them or just being around them.
Today, though, she noticed that Todoroki seemed pretty distant from the group, emitting an aura that nobody knew how to react. Luckily, it wasn't Mineta's pervy one that nobody even wanted to stand 5 feet in the range of, except for Denki. Nobody has a clue was he sees in him.
(Maybe he's gay for him.... Okay, I'll stop. I'm just exhausted...)
Of course, it was time for the U.A. first year students to get into their gym uniforms and get on that field. (Y/N), of course, has always been shy around others when it came to changing, so hiding in the corner was best for her. (I'm sorry if this isn't you and you really don't care, but I've always been really awkward when in the locker room. I just hate getting dressed in front of other people, even if I know them well.)
When everyone finally got out to the field, Midnight explained that the class representative would be pledging.
"BAKUGOU?!?!" Everyone was muttering as he walked onto the stage, not ready for what he was gonna say.
Oh crap, he's gonna make us look bad...
"I'm gonna win," He spoke, not much aggression in his tone. Everyone stated booing and screaming at him for being so stuck up. Yes, he believed in himself, which was a good quality, but he always made sure that he was number one.
Wow... Well, challenge accepted.
"I'll do anything to make you happy, I just never want to see you cry."
