Just for some background for this. I never see any Black Friday things, so I thought it would be fun to write it ON that day. Also, I wonder what it would be like to be a parent on Black Friday, yet be shopping. So you both are married and have had your first child. She has your hair color down one side of her head and Shoto's white shade down the other. I know, so creative. You're welcome. You figure out everything else out yourself. Have fun with your child.

It was Thanksgiving night and after eating that turkey, their daughter, Mayumi Todoroki, passed out on the couch. (Y/N) had brought her to her room afterward so that the snoring wouldn't have to be heard right next to the couple.

As of the moment, both (Y/N) and Shoto had been sitting next to each other, cuddling while watching (favorite movie/show). Mayumi was sleeping, so the two of them were able to watch it alone without being harassed.

An idea popped into (Y/N)'s head when she remembered what tomorrow would be. Before she could say anything, though, she fell asleep. That turkey does quite the magic.

It solves all of your problems.

You need someone to leave you alone? Feed them pounds of turkey. They'll pass out immediately.

You need a way to get someone somewhere, feed them pounds of turkey. They will pass out and you can just carry them around to the place you need them.

In this case, Shoto didn't need anything to happen. He was sharing Thanksgiving night with his wife, but it ended with the tryptophan getting to her. Turkeys have their way of getting back at humans for being killed, apparently.

He reached for the remote to turn off the television before carrying her bridal style to their shared bedroom. Setting her on her side of the bed, he walked out to go check on their daughter.

Of course. Still passed out. Who does she get that from? (Y/N).

He rolled his eyes with a smile, closed the door, and walked back into their room.

It might've only been 8 pm, but for everyone, it felt like 2 in the morning. Stupid turkey.

With that, he collapsed onto the bed and passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

The next morning, the couple was very lively compared to the exhausting day before. Both of them had worked on Thanksgiving dinner, but it was still tiring. After giving up on making a pie, the two of them had just bought one from the store to spare them the effort.

One issue with the early sleep was the fact that Mayumi was running everywhere, playing with the random toys that were tossed all over the floor. That was before anyone else had woken up, so to wake up to screeching from a five-year-old girl and toys scattered here and there wasn't very fun.

(Y/N) awoke after she heard a scream come from the living room. She ran into the living room to see if everything was alright, and it seemed that she had got a hold of the TV remote. What channel turned on? Freeform. What was on? The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. It wasn't terrible, but Ichika was so scared of the Grinch for no apparent reason other than the fact that he stole Christmas presents. That was one way to tell her to be good all year.
