Chapter V

5 Months Later....
Sai'Yanna had been working her ass off and keeping her distance from everyone, even her girls. She finally had a weekend to herself and decided to treat herself. After pampering and cleaning her place and finishing laundry, Sai'Yanna decided to go shopping.

Sai'Yanna hit almost every store on Fifth Avenue. Carrying more bags than her arms and hands could handle. She put her bags in the trunk, taking a look inside of Piaget Jewelry, noticing the display of rings the salesman was putting on display. She made her way inside, taking in the warm inviting air. "Hey miss. How are you today?" The salesman asked with a warm smile. "Hi, I'm fine and yaself?" "I'm fine. Thank you for asking. Are you looking for something in particular?" "Um actually I am. I would like to see the display of rings you just put out." "Yes ma'am." He pulled out the display of rings, sitting them on the counter. You could tell by his demeanor that he was gay and the sway in his walk and his style of clothing. He wasn't fooling anybody, especially not Sai'Yanna.
She smirked at him as the diamonds danced underneath the light. "These are gorgeous", she cooed. She took the 18 karat white gold possession ring off of the hand manikin, trying it on. "How much is it?" The salesman raised his eyebrow, darting his eyes at the price tag. "That's all? Well I want it and can I see those open bangle bracelets?" He pulled out the bangle bracelets, letting her try them on. "I like these. Do you like it? Ehh even if it doesn't look right it'll make a great gift for one of my girls. Wrap it up for me please?"
Damn she buying her friends gifts like this for the holidays? What this bitch do for a living? And she's cute with that spoiled brat written all over her. Mmmm. Use to be me until my pappy found out I was a carpet muncher. Now I'm working in here with these foreign folks. Wrapping jewelry I could've been buyin myself if I would've stayed in the damn closet. The salesman thought to himself.

Sai'Yanna was in her own world trying on different wedding bands, imagining she was getting proposed to. "That ring fit for a queen like you ma", said a familiar voice. She took the ring off, putting it back how she found it, turning around seeing a smiling Bricks. She couldn't front he gave her butterflies, something she hadn't felt since her first love. "Hey stranger." "Wassup ma. Why you never hit me up?" "I gave you my number but someone decided not to use it." The salesman came back with her jewelry wrapped in a gift bag and she handed him her black card. He rushed back over with her receipt. "I'll be back to see you Peyton." She said reading his name tag, giving him a wink.

Bricks walked her out of the store and back to her truck. "So when you gone let me take you out?" "For you I'll make time." She turned fire red, feeling a bit embarrassed after hearing what she said. "So that's a yeah." "We'll see Bricks." She grinned getting into her truck speeding off into traffic. She was feeling Bricks but she didn't want him to know that. She barely even knew him but she wanted to get to know him on a deeper level. But right now nothing could come between her and her money, not even the man of her dreams.

    She pulled into her driveway, making her way inside with all of her bags. Her side flip started vibrating off the hook. She stumbled trying her best to do everything at once, throwing her bags on the couch. Unlocking the side flip she read the message to herself: Tonight you're getting paid double. All you have to do is be at The Roosevelt with Leena by 8:30 p.m. DON'T BE LATE!
     "This is fucking fantastic", Sai'Yanna said throwing her hands in the air. She was trying her best to avoid Leena as much as possible and it was working but now Ace wanted the two on a "partner project". She strictly instructed not to even work with Leena any more after what she pulled a couple of months back.

      Sai'Yanna decided to take a nap to calm her nerves before the shit she was about to get into tonight.

   Sai'Yanna's alarm went off at 6:45 causing her to jump up out of her peaceful sleep. She got naked, putting her clothes in the hamper jumping into the shower.
