Kade -

"FUCK" I scream as lexi ended the call. I needed to get to my sister and fast.

"Kade where you going son" my mum asked concerned.

"I need to go see Haylee" I sighed grabbing my keys, rushing out the house.

Abandoning my car on the road side not bothering to lock it. I ran into the sea of people in the club. My eyes searching the whole place.

Wait lexi said she was in the smoking area.

I don't think I barged past so many people to get to my sister. One thing was sure I wasn't letting her go down that black hole. Not again. As soon as I walked out into the smoking area, I saw her. She looked so broken.

"Haylee" I whispered crouching in front of her. When she didn't look up I sighed. So I slumped against the wall with her. Instantly she let herself fall, head in my lap, sobbing uncontrollably. I needed to find out what caused this major melt down, she's not had one of these since she was trying to get clean. In fact I knew full well why she was like this. Connor. Looking over my little sister it broke my heart, she was sobbing and shaking. I also took note on how tight her fist was.

"Haylee, it's ok I'm here" I whispered stroking her hair even though she hated it. "Give it me" I whispered but she shook her head.

"I want pops" she cried harder.

Fuck.

"Baby you can't have pops remember" I softly said scooping her into my arms and standing up.

"This is bad lex I've not see her like this for years" I sighed making my way through the club to my car. I felt Haylee shiver in my arms.

"Hey kade, she ok?" Jimmy came rushing over.

"I'm not sure to be honest, think she's finally broken down" I whispered.

"Shit man, she seemed fine when I was speaking to her" he sighed, I knew he felt bad as he didn't spot this.

"Jim don't feel bad mate she hides stuff like this too well" I muttered.

"Ok, well I wouldn't go out front, there's a swarm of press" he sighed "take her into the office and put your hoodie on her, the last thing she needs is being front page in the morning" he nodded.

No more words were spoke but he knew how thankful we were.

I laid Haylee softly down on her old bed, noticing her fist was still clenched. Sighing to myself I nodded to lexi to keep an eye on her whilst I got her a drink.

I hadn't been gone 5 minutes and I heard hayls screaming causing me to jump, dropping the glass of water all over the floor. I don't think I have ran up the stair as fast as I did. Running into her room I saw the reason she was screaming. Running my hands through my hair  sighing for the millionth time this hour.

"Kitten, please I'm trying to help" he whispered causing Haylee to move further and further into the corner of the bed away from him.

"Stay. Away. From. Me" she spat through clenched teeth.

"Connor mate, it's gonna be best if you leave. Me and lexi have got this" I said putting my hand on his shoulder.

"I know how to help her" he sighed

"Yeah well we had to handle situations like this when she was getting clean. I don't suppose you have noticed her clenched fist, protecting the bag of coke have you" I snapped at him.

"Shit" the guilt spread over his face

"Yeah shit so I think you best leave the room" lexi snapped.

As soon as he left the room Haylee started to calm a bit. She lifted her head up, unclenched her fist and launched the bag of coke across the room. I instantly wrapped my arms around her.

"Good girl, you don't need that shit" I whispered gently rocking her. "I got you baby, I got you" she clung onto me like her life depended on it and to be honest it did. I knew I should have told ma when she let Connor stay with us.

One thing that was certain, after tonight I would be staying with Haylee for a while. She kept telling me she felt alone. I just didn't realise how much.
