"Ma I'm here" I said running into the room.
"Haylee" she whispered.
She remembered me.
"I'm right here Ma" I whispered taking her hand in mine. "I'm not going anywhere"
"I'm proud of you, if you both and don't you ever forget it" she whispered "my two babies"
"Why does that sound like you are giving up Ma" kade cried.
"Because it's nearly time for me to go join your pops" she whispered.
"No, no, no" I shouted "you cannot leave us Ma"
"Baby girl it's nearly my time, I'm happy ok. Both of my children are successful and have over come so much in their life" Ma smiled "and you are doing music again"
"Ma you can't leave us" I cried
"Haylee promise me something" she whispered
"Anything Ma" I said looking up.
"Promise me you won't go down that black hole again" she sighed.
"I won't, I promise. I've got a good support network" I said looking over at Marshall shooting him a small smile.
"Right everyone out I need a private chat with my daughter" Ma laughed as the boys left the room.
"Don't even think about lying to me. Do you like him?" She asked.
"Like who?" I laughed playing dumb.
"Marshall" she smiled.
"Yeah I think I do" I smiled shyly.
"Well don't let him slip through the net, I don't care about the age difference all I care about is your happiness"
After about 5 minutes the boys came back in. My mum held her hand out towards Marshall.
"Now you, thank you for looking after my baby girl. She's been a hell of a lot happier since you came into her life" my mum smiled squeezing Marshall's hand. "You better fucking look after her or I will come back and haunt your ass"
"It's no problem at all Lucinda, I've been down that road before with no one in my corner. And trust me I would rather die that let anything happen to her" Marshall smiled lovingly at my mum.
"I love you ma" I cried
"I love you too baby girl and I love you too my little dare devil" Ma said with a single tear rolling down her cheek. "It's time for me to be reunited with your pops".
With that she took her final breath.

With a smile on her face.
"No, no, no, no" I screamed tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Ma wake up. Please" I sobbed clinging onto my mums hand.
It wasn't until I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist pulling me away I let go of my mums hand.
"Sis she's gone" kade cried.

"Haylee are you ok?" Connor asked as I stormed back into my apartment.
"Mate leave her for now" kade side.
"Kade what's going on" I heard Connor say.
"Ma passed, there was some internal bleeding they missed" kade spat.
I couldn't take any more so I slammed the door to my bedroom.
Out of all of the emotions that I was feeling the one that was over powering was anger.
I started to pick the first things I could reach and launching them against the wall.
I must have been throwing shit around my room for about 10 minutes.
I heard my bedroom door opened, spinning round with a vase in my hand.
"Hey baby" marshal whispered walking into my room with his hands up.
"Let's put the vase down yeah" he whispered taking the vase out of my hand and placing it on my bed.
"come here you" he whispered wrapping his arms around me and kissing the top of my head.
That's when I broke down. I just stood there sobbing into his chest.
"That's it baby girl, let it all out. I got you" marshall whispered into my hair.
