REAL LIFE.

Alicia sighed.

"It's okay, peach," Didi reassured her. "Just think about it. We did amazing!"

The day after the mats series, they had started playing Tampa Bay. The Yankees took three out of four games, but the last game, todays afternoon game, was a disappointment.

"You're right." Alicia grabbed her keys off of Boone's desk, Didi waiting in the door way. "You going home?"

"Nah were Hungry," he replied, moving aside so she could walk through the doorway first. She smiled at him and walked through, him following.

She internally facepalmed, of course they were hungry. Today was a 2:05 game, and it was only around six now. "That's cool. I think I'm just gonna go home. I'm pretty tired and.."

"No you're coming with us." She glanced up at him, surprised, just to see a big smile on his face as he slung an arm around her shoulders. " before you say anything, you have no choice."

"Not alarming at all!" She replied, letting him lead her to wherever they were going.

"It'll be fun! You haven't even met gleyber and Miguel yet!" He cried, and the two of them turned a corner.

"I'm sure they're nice but u know I don't like.."

"Burger King? Please tell me you like Berger king. That's where were going."

She gave him a look. "Didi.."

"Don't even. You have to be hungry, you haven't eaten in, like.. five hours?" He opened another door and they were finally in a parking lot.

"Fine. How are we getting there?" She folded her arms, pretending to be somewhat mad at him, but the arm around her shoulders stayed in place despite everything, she thought he was cute for that.

"Starts car can fit all of us." Didi lied. She didn't notice, because as he said it Giancarlo appeared with Aaron, gleyber and Miguel, standing next to a car she assumed was his.

"That's a small car," Alicia noted. "Um.. you sure that fits six?"

Didi grinned. "Well maybe it doesn't. Oh well!"

"Didi!" She snapped, shrugging off his arm. "You told me it did.."

"Hey, Leesha! What's up?" Giancarlo asked, cutting her off.

"Hi, Giancarlo." She sent Didi a glare.

"What's up with you?" Giancarlo replied, looking between the two of them.

"She took an Uber to the stadium today because she had car trouble again and she pissed off since I told her there's six seats in your car when there's only five and here's six of us." He cheesed at the end. Not only was she mad that he lied to her face, but he was satisfied with it, and now she'd have to pay more money to another Uber driver just to go to Burger King with them. Giancarlo shifted awkwardly. "You wanna sit on someone?" I'm driving, so your options are ..."

She stared at him. "I'm not gonna sit on anyone," she said quietly. Her eyes accidentally flickered over to Aaron, who had been watching the whole thing. Seeing her do this, didi and Giancarlo turned to him.
