It's been 3 months. 3 months without Stan. I didn't mean to bring him to that point. I look over at Richie and Eddie, holding hands.
Happy.
Stan and I could've had that. But we didn't, we never did. We could've if I didn't suppress my feeling for him, ignore my feeling for my best friend.
"I-I miss him." I whisper. I pull the picture of Stan out of my tired, worn out jean pocket.
"You're the one that did that! You were the one who hurt him! You're the one who decided Beverly over him and brought him to that point!" Richie explains. He pushes me to the ground. He grabs Eddie's hand and storms off. Tears start to swarm my eyes. Richie was right. I was the one who brought Stan to kill him self. I couldn't live without Stan so, I went home and did it myself.
