*Betty*

Matthew jumped with energy in the seat behind me. My hands gripped the steering wheel tightly. Peter was perched on the top of our undercover van. Azelia rolled her eyes as Matthew sprang her with questions. "Are you going on vacation?" "I don't know, Matthew." "Are we gonna see Gray and London? Only London is nice to me. It's probably because I'm younger than you guys. But only by 2/3 years! Gray is always brooding. Maybe I'll be cool and boring like you and Gray! Maybe he'll like me more. But maybe not. Maybe he'll think I'm a poser. Do you think he has any friends my age? Probably not if he hates me so much. I sure hope he does. And I hope it's a girl. And I hope she's hot and cool like London. But probably not. "Did you just call our cousin hot?" Azelia asked.  "Whatever. London is really cool, though. And Uncle Trevor is really goofy and--"

Azelia put up a silencing hand that inside, I was a little glad for. We approached the house and Peter knocked on the window. "Betty? It's time."

I nodded and ushered the kids and their bags out of the car. "Anything in there, get it out now because I promise you, this car is not coming back." Azelia climbed into the car and scanned it for valuables. Once she was done, she climbed out with her sketchpad and pencils. And let's not forget her MacBook.

Peter climbed from his spot on the roof of the car. He pressed a button on his suit and it slipped off of him, revealing the clothing underneath. "Lets go."

He blindfolded the kids and I and guided us to the place we were to retreat to. I didn't even think the threat was worth it. It was just a angry person with a gun. Peter was literally bullet-proof. Matthew was literally bullet-proof. London was almost bullet-proof. And I was sure Azelia could handle herself and that Gray... he was far too powerful than a kid his age should be. I heard a latch open and we were directed inside a room.

The blindfolds were removed. We were in a kind of camp cabin sort of place except with steel walls and guns. Four bunks were left- for us, naturally. Matthew ran to one of the tops. "Mine!" He squealed just as Gray walked into the room. "I mean uh, mine." He said nonchalantly. He nodded hello to Gray who rolled his eyes and nodded back. "This one's mine," Azelia said matching his tone, but more naturally and relaxed. Gray nodded hello.

Suddenly London was in the room and her and Matthew were already gallivanting away. I chuckled. Azelia was typing away on her phone. Seeing it, I tensed. I grabbed the device. "No  electronics of communication. Not until this is over." She tensed and stared at me. I glared harder. She backed down. Nobody could give a look like I could.

Veronica entered the room and nodded. "Thank you for coming. Let's get down to business."
