"Ow!" Gray cried as he hit his bottom hard. I looked around us. We were in the middle of the desert, and a closed tent laid next to me. 4 suitcases were right next to it. Suddenly, I felt very parched. Then, I remembered what happened to my leg. And then I remembered that I was in the middle of nowhere. Then the panic kicked in.
And ya girl screamed.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I screamed, waking up Azelia and Matthew. Both scrambled to their feet, dazed and confused. "What? What happened?" I looked at Azelia. She looked so much older and Matthew... he didn't look so much like Matthew. "Did your mom send us forward in time?!" I asked Azelia scrambling to my feet, (as well as I could) as well. "I, uh, maybe I dunno!" Azelia cried out. "Where the heck are we?" Gray exclaimed from the ground. "Oh my God! I'm-look at me!"
Gray looked to be around 18 years old. His hair had grown out a bit longer and the was taller, and leaner. "What is going on? I was just 14 yesterday!!"
I looked down at the suitcases next to us. "Everybody, get ready to jump." Matthew shook his head. "How come?"
I glared at him."I'm about to open this." I dug into my back pocket and pulled out my switchblade. "Why do you have that?" Gray asked like an idiot.
"Why do you have any weapon? To protect yourself."
I leaned over to the suitcase. "3...2...1! I flicked open the suitcase with the switchblade and jumped back. No explosion. Okay...
When I opened my eyes, inside was all my essentials. My toothpaste, toothbrush, clothes, books, phone, FOOD, WATER. The front pocket were filled with stuff too. I grinned wildly. "Hey guys look at this!" Everybody came rushing over.
"Holy cow!" Matthew said when he opened his own suitcase. "Dad," he mumbled solemnly when he pulled out a red and blue suit with a spider embroidered on the front. "His old suit..." I smiled. I watched Azelia's eyes fill with tears as she pulled out an all black combat suit. "Mom..." She held it to her chest and I just assumed she was doing it in passion. Slowly, the suit began to climb up her skin, the nanotechnology making it hug her body. She watched in awe as the suit travelled down and arms and legs. "Mom. You're awesome." She said to the sky.
Thunder rumbled and a huge grin spread across her face.

I grinned and hopped up. "Couisnn! Daaang! Ready for combat I see?" Azelia smiled and spun in a circle. "It doesn't look bad?"
I punched her arm. "Bad? Bad?! Girl get outta here. Those bad guys won't know what hit 'em."
Suddenly I felt my breath leave my body. My heart felt inflamed and when I looked down at my leg...
