*Azelia*

When I woke up again, London and I were strapped back to back on the floor.
"We've gotta stop waking up in these impossible situations." London grumbled behind me, lurching her shoulders forward in an attempt the break free.

Everytime she pulled, the rope around us crushed my stomach. "Oww," I grumbled. London kept pulling getting more and more frustrated as she did.
"Stop! Stop. Calm down. I have a plan." I said trying to be rational. I didn't really have a plan exactly, and I didn't even have a clear idea of where we were but London struggled less behind me.

"Okay... what is it?"

"Um..."

I took a good look at our surroundings. We were in a warehouse, naturally. About 30 feet from us was a door. Right next to the door was a huge product carrying bus. The side read, "Eli's Vegan Burgers."

Above us, the ceiling was high and spacious. A single camera beeped from in front of us. I eyed it closely.  "Okay. Here's what we're gonna do."

London and I scooted up against one another until we were both standing. "Hang on." London said, and she started running. I couldn't see a thing as we (she) ran in a small circle. I almost hurled. Still, I felt the rope slip off of me as the air cut through it and I went flying.

I hit the ground hard. "Ow." London was at my side in a second "Sorry."
I shook my head. "It's fine. But we
don't have a lot of time."

Shaking off the fall, I flew up to the camera and punched it. Glass blew in all directions and my hands grew red with blood. I grabbed London's hand. "Come on. They might be here any second now."

London nodded and climbed on my back. I flew up to the ceiling slower than i'd hoped with the extra luggage but once we got up, I latched onto a pole. It felt like we were thousands of feet off the ground. The poles were huge, and crisscrossed over one another. I had London climb up onto one first and I came up second.

London sat cowboy style, legs out wide,  latching them together at the bottom of the pole. Her hands held her secure, folded into the hand sized holes on the sides. She shook with fear. "What is it?" I asked. "It just... I just feel really high up." I looked back at her. I sat, both legs over one side, just incase we had to move quickly. I looked back at her."You're scared of heights?"

She threw her hands up in exasperation. She seemed to notice that and quickly held back onto the pole. "Yeah so what?"

I shook my head. "Nothing it's just.. I didn't expect that."

"The ground is my territory. Don't judge me." I shook my head again. "I'm not I swear! It's just unexpected is all."
"Yeah well, I'm not like Gray. I'm afraid of things."
I cocked my head to the side curiously. "What do you mean you're not--"

I heard the door open and my stomach felt funny. "Hey! Hey where did they go!" Somebody yelled. "I told you to watch the cameras!" Somebody else yelled.

It was silent for a moment. "They took the camera out!" The first person yelled. "What are we gonna do now boss? We don't have targets."

A man spoke. The boss, I assume. "Here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna find the girls, made 'em run around like chickens, shoot 'em, kill em, then we eat 'em."

"That's g-g-great boss, but how're we gonna find 'em?"
The boss put a hand under his child. I grabbed London's hand and I nodded to her. She nodded back. "3..2.." she mouthed.

We dropped.

We dropped hard as fast. London smiled, and quickly threw out a leg, kicking one of the guys in the face. She landed, arms out and ready to fight. "Thanks for breaking my fall."
She said to the guy on the ground that she was on top of.

The boss narrowed his beady little eyes at me. "You little,"

lets just say he didn't get to finish. The third guy just looked between the two of us and shook his head, running away. London and I smiled at one another and then chased after him, hoping he would lead us to...

The door.

As we burst through the door, the world unmaterialized around us. "What the- MOM!" London yelled.

I didn't walk toward them, suspicious of who they were. Mom walked toward me, and held out a tender hand. "You did great Azelia."
"Thanks... Mom. How about my combat?"
"Splendid!" She said smiling widely. I stepped back.

This isn't my mom.
