My knuckles made contact with Clyde's jaw which send him back into the group of his goomes, them having to catch him before he fell down to the ground. Clyde groaned before his glare focused on me again. "You are death meat, (Y/N)!" He pushed himself away from his minions and lifted his fists for his next attack, me doing the same. He lifted his right fist up, indicating he was about to throw a punch, but I didn't move or lock my eyes on his right fist. I knew he was left-handed and thereby had more power in that arm which would be more logical to use as Clyde was never really the brainy guy, it was always about strength.

And just as I thought, his right hand halted its attack and left his left flying for my temple. I quickly shifted my footing and turned away from his blow letting him pull himself after his fist and fall straight into my awaiting one. This time his nose was my victim as I felt it scrunch under my knuckles, making me supress a grimace to show on my face. I stepped back as Clyde's hands flew for his nose as screams of pain left his lungs. This is bad. He deserves it, right? I did wrong. I was only defending myself. I'm not supposed to fight back though. As my mind kept racing, I forced my lips together and kept my mouth shut, knowing that words would only provoke the hurt man in front of me.

Clyde turned to his group and extended his hand, an impatient look in his eyes. "Give it to me!" One of his goomes stepped forward and handed him a small bag. Clyde ripped his thick glove, which already made me tremble, from his belt and took what was inside the bag between his fingers, shoving it in my face. I screamed in fear and fell back on the ground, crawling away with my trembling limbs. The laughter of the man holding my worst fear between his fingers reached my ears, but wasn't fully processed inside my head as my eyes were still trained at my torturer. I did wrong, I didn't learn and now the ice will burn. I need to get away. No, I deserve it. No, I don't. I can't move.

"What?! Huh?! Got nothing to say, no punches to throw, Centipede!" Clyde shouted at me, that familiar hurtful nickname rolling across his tongue as he stepped closer and laughed even louder while watching me crawl away more. "You are nothing, and you should know your place as a wretch." He flicked his wrist and the small block of ice hit my chest, making me scream in extreme fright and jump away, starting to sway from side to side as I kept my eyes on the not moving danger close to me. "It is that your uncle is the man we follow or I would have killed you by now." He pulled off his glove again and put it back behind his belt, throwing the small bag at the group of his goomes. "Worthless Centipede." I heard him mumble before he walked away and left me motionless on the ground. I didn't dare to move or look away from the ice laying there on the ground, taunting me, letting me crumble down just so it could be amused.

I wrapped my arms across my head, making myself as small as I could out of fear that at any moment the murderous ice would jump at me and bite off my still working flesh. I could feel it glaring at me, but pounce it didn't. I felt a hand grab the back of my collar and pull me up to my feet harshly. "You never learn, do you?" I heard my uncles voice as I immediately started struggling to get away from his grasp, to get away from the ice. "I'm sorry (Y/N), I really don't want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice. This is your own fault." And with one quick and strong fling I fell face first onto the block of ice, screaming as I felt it's cold melting against my flushed skin. I pushed myself up and pushed my legs to pump and drag me away from that place. I heard the laughter of my uncle, I could see that smirk on his lips even though my back was turned to him as I ran into the forest.

Worthless Centipede. Useless. Weak. Pathetic. Worthless Centipede. Worthless Centipede. Why am I the worthless wretch? I kept running and running, hitting trees with my shoulders, causing me to almost tumble to the ground, but I kept my balance enough for me to keep running. I have to learn. Why can't I learn. Why am I so weak, so stupid. An uninvited sob escaped past my lips as I hit my shoulder against a boulder. My legs buckled underneath me and left me to fall to my knees, another sob crawling its way up my throat. My hands placed flat against the stone as I slammed my forehead against it, so stupid, so stupid, learn something, learn, learn, learn!
