Day 14, by Firehedgehog
The moon shone with a light that seemed sacred.
It reflected off the snowy ground below, casting the world in a silvery hue.
It was serene, and for the first time in a long while, Cross found himself at peace in his soul.
He almost felt like he could reach up and grab the glowing orb, it was so huge in the sky above.
"Hey Chara..." Cross whispered.
'What?' X asked quietly, his eyes wide as he stared up into the sky.
"Let's stay here a bit longer," Cross said.
X's silence was all the answer he needed.
Together, so far from home, the two watched the moon.
