I didn't draw a Lion, or any wild land animal. It's 30 years since Erasure's album Wild! was released today so I should've done an attempt of the album cover. I thought about it but without knowing it's the anniversary but I decided on a shark, a great white shark. I saw a video a while ago that explained they just can't be but in captivity, whenever they've tried they've lived a few weeks at best so that made me decide they're the most wild animal. I don't think I've drawn a shart before other than a fin above the waves. I thought about doing wild flowers but I've still managed to avoid plant life.
I tried to do it really fast and it still took 1-2 hours. I hated it while I was doing it but looking at it now I quite like it and how it turned out, maybe hurrying isn't so bad. I like he background. I like the mouth. I got the shark's shape. I kind of like how the white, fin wave cut (I can't think what you'd call that) turned out. Most of the colours worked out really well.
I didn't like how the colours weren't coming out much like the one I copied. The eyes are too big. In blending, I've just made everything really smudgey. I never liked how I went between the head and the body. The top fin looks a bit of an odd angle. I almost forgot to post it.
Bonus - I got my Mama (gran) to draw something, first time using a drawing tablet (she laughed a lot trying to work out how to use the pen and seeing what it was drawing) and then I copied it and gave them both colour. Mine is the above right one, if you can't tell.
Next Ornament
I really have no idea for this one, maybe I'll draw a vase or something. Maybe this is the one that's time to draw some flowers in a vase or something.
