I'm giving Inktober a go for the first time!
I know Wattpad isn't really the place to post art but me and @phoenixsong870 decided we should do this so here I go.

Just the one today but it took longer than I thought it would. I looked up orchid meanings to try to get around it and found each colour means a different thing. White - innocence and purity. Pink - femininity, grace, and joy. Yellow - friendship and new beginnings. Purple - royalty and admiration. Orange - pride, enthusiasm, and boldness. Blue - rarity. I latched onto pink meaning femininity since it's not something I have much association with.

I also looked at a lot of orchids for colours. I was going to use the girl only for the dress but I ended up using everything but the hair, sleeves and shoes. I wasn't going to keep the outlines but as usual I ended up liking it like that appart from where I've smudged it. Before I'd put any colours in my brother said she looked dead, I don't think that's the case anymore. The hands are passable. The orchid middle parts were hard and you can't even really see them but it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be.
