We're best friends that are joined at the hip, inseparable, and in love. You've always been there for me no matter what. Through thick and thin I can count on you with your little "I love you Princess," and the "you're beautiful," comments.
I remember when I first met you in 11th grade. I had been at this boring school for my entire life where as you were 'fresh meat.' The moment I fist saw you was when I ran into you full force, and when I looked up I felt my whole world stop.
When I looked at you in that moment I saw my future with you. I saw our late hight phone calls, our little surprises to each other, our shared kisses, and our love. I had always been a shy person and still am, but that day I used 20 seconds of courage to tell you my name. And u don't think any 20 seconds have ever been that important to me.
From that moment on, we became best friends. We trusted each other with every secret and every fear we had. When you asked me to homecoming I thought that we might have a chance to be something more than friends, but all of that disappeared when my nerves kicked in. But finally when it was homecoming night, you helped me dance all my cares away. And I think that at that exact moment I realized it didn't matter if we were dating, what mattered was that no matter what, you were in my life.
The moment you asked me out I'm positive my heart stopped. I mean how could an angel like you want to be around someone so self conscious? I forgot all of that when you kissed me.
So now here we are, still together two years later and I still love you with all of my heart. You're my rock, my first love, my life, my savior. Just thank you for all that you've given me and shown me.
All of my heart, soul, and love,
Elizabeth Lynn Martin
