Reunited (Matcha)

Matcha hears Brave, she looks at Brave while he was running to her. Once Brave tackle hugged her, he cried softly, making her clothes damp. "Shhh....it's alright Brave... it's okay, I'm here now..." She said in a very soothing voice

------------------Flashback to 10 years ago--------------------

It was snowing hard as the harsh winter had begun. Matcha was watching the fire by the fire place. She was getting lost in her thoughts, which were about her sister. The cookie remembered how she vowed to attack the kingdom and not stop until she destroyed it!

As she continued to get lost, there was a knock on the door (which made her jump up slightly). "C-coming!" She called as she got up to go open the door. As she opened it, she saw a figure with horns that were like branches. The figures eyes were amber and very calm with a hint of concern. "Millie?" Matcha asked

Millennial Tree nods. "Yes, I have something to tell you..." He said as she saw a blanket in his arms. "Okay, what is it?" Matcha asked, confused upon seeing the blanket. 

Then the Tree explained how Dark Enchantress sacrificed Brave into the kingdom's arms in exchange for her and her two other children's life. Matcha was shocked as she heard the news!

"Your the only one in his family that he could look up to as his mother-figure..." Millennial Tree finished as her handed the baby who is wrapped in a blanket to her. "Have a good-night Matcha." Then within the blink of an eye, he was gone

She sighs softly and looks at the sleeping Brave. Maybe taking care him won't be so bad after all! Suddenly, he began to fuss. Matcha began to panic, for one because she didn't know how to take care of a baby at all! She tried to think of the things babies needed as he went on to a full on wail!

Matcha then began to boil a few hard jellies so she could feed it to him. Brave, of course, accepted the food, playing with it every once and a while. When he finished, she put him to sleep, slowly falling asleep with him. The last thing she remembered before falling asleep was Brave snuggling into her warmth

------------------Flashback end----------------

She opened her eyes as the memory faded into the back of her mind. Brave had fallen asleep as he was being hugged by his aunt. Matcha chuckles softly and picks up Brave to take him to his bed. 

Once she got him settled, she kissed him. "Good-night, my little sunshine..." She whispered softly as she left his room, closing his door.
