Take It Back

Gisele was laid back on a bed, her sobs and turned into sniffles, she suddenly felt a stinging sensation and winced.

    "Ow," she whined.

    "It wasn't that bad." Leah stated.

Gisele propped herself up and glared at the blonde, "A psycho just sliced my palm open with a scalpel he was using to cut open a druggie and now I might have HIV and my career as a surgeon could be over, so it is that bad Leah."

    "Okay, you're right. It is that bad." Leah took the needle out, having taken enough blood from Gisele to test if she had HIV.

They exited the room and handed the vile of blood to a nurse to take to the lab before heading to the patient's room, there they saw Owen, Alex and Jo standing outside the room. Owen then proceeded to explain what had happened.

   "I want him fired!" Alex yelled.

   "Karev–"

   "I want him arrested!" Alex yelled not having any of Owen's explanations.

   "Webber is watching over your father like a hawk. His vitals are stable, and we're gonna do our best to keep it that way, okay?" He assured Alex, "What the hell was this kid thinking?" He asked as Richard walked out of the room.

   "He wasn't thinking." He responded.

   "Yeah, no kidding." Jo added angrily.

Richard turned to them, "He was hallucinating. He had no idea what was happening. He thought the patient on the table was Heather Brooks."

Leah gasped catching everyone's attention, "Oh, my god."

    "What?"

   "He showed me how to fudge your hours in the system so you can continue working without having to sleep." She explained.

   "For god's sakes."

    "I'll find him." Leah offered before walking down the hall.

Richard nodded over at Gisele's direction, "Shepherd, you take care of that hand yet?"

Now all eyes were on her, "Uh, Yeah. Leah cleaned it and we just sent the lab my blood work for infectious panel."

Jo noticed her puffy, red eyes, "Gisele, are you okay?"

She shook her head, "No, wonder boy sutured my hand and sliced my palm, which means I won't be a surgeon."

    "I want him fired!" Alex yelled again.

   "Cristina's on her way. She's gonna–" Owen attempted to assure Alex but he wasn't having it.

    "No, Yang is not touching him."

  "Alex, I think–"

   "If that kid messed up, it's on her. She lets him think he runs the place. Why do you think he hacked up Jimmy's heart all on his own?! And sliced Baby Shepherd's hand opened!" Alex angrily yelled.

  "Let's just wait until we get all the facts." Owen calmly said.

    "She's screwing him!" Alex blurted out leaving everyone shocked.

Gisele followed Jo, more like Jo dragged her along to the main floor of the hospital where a catatonic Stephanie was sitting in a chair, staring off into space.
