Chapter 10

It was Barnabas who opened the door.

He was smiling before but as soon as he saw Antonio's face, his own face drained all of its color.

He stood there like a statue about to crumble, his face didn't show any emotion he was just stunned then his eyes landed on Isabella and his jaw dropped on the floor, Aisha came behind him.

"What's taking so long king who i--?" She stopped dead in her tracks, gasped and stumbled backwards, her hand covered her mouth.

I grabbed Barnabas' forearm and entered the house, dragging him with me.

"Hunter just let them stay here if Barnabas will allow, then they will enter the house." I said and Hunter nodded.

Everyone was watching Barnabas and I, Aisha was still standing there in the doorway completely in shock, everyone else was looking at us brothers because no one saw Bella and Antonio yet, they were sitting in that kinda direction that they had to stand up to see who's at the door.

"What's wrong, why are you all so dead expressioned?" Becca asked getting up and walking towards me, she still didn't look at the door.

"See for yourself." I said.

She went to the door, stood behind Ash and everyone did the same.

"Wat-what the fuck Ric?!! why are these two here?! where did you find them?!!!" Damian shouted in disbelief.

"What the fuck is going on?!" He shouted again, freaking out.

"Relax Dame I'm not out of my mind, you are thinking wrong we didn't go there to rescue them okay? sit, let me explain this to all of you." I instructed.

"Wait our father is there, these two were there at the same place but dad is the king and your parents were the hostages, what's happening here?" Kate asked looking as confused as we all were.

"Kate, let me explain, take a seat."

Everyone took a seat just Hunter was standing in the door frame and those two were still out, we were all in the living room when you enter the front door the first thing you see is the living room so it was better, I helped Barnabas to sit he was definitely not taking this situation well.

Dame was still seething, he refused to sit or even talk.

He had this dead expression and he was also fuming, almost heat coming out of his ears.

"So everyone, we did our work, we hacked the lock of the secret door went in and found them in there, there was no one except these two." I stated.

"I'm still confused maybe my mind isn't working." Becca spoke she held her head between her hands.

"Calm down please Becca, even I'm not thinking straight but still I owe an explanation to all of you, they were there I was leaving without them but we should not forget it's not just for all of us but our kind, we need some answers and maybe they can give some, so Jonah made a point on bringing them here and inquiring them, after that we'll see what we have to do with these two."

Barnabas nodded slowly, so did everyone in understanding.

Dame still looked like he would kill me or them.

"Barnabas can they come inside?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He said sounding weak.

I signaled Hunter to bring them in, they entered and took a seat opposite from all of us, Hunter closed the door and came to sit with us.

They were looking at everyone, maybe trying to understand who is who.

Damian refused to talk to them he didn't even want to look at their faces, just like Barnabas and I, but we had to interrogate them.
