Chapter 13

Hunter's P.O.V:

Inside the castle the chaos was on full swing, but we had everything planned.

We decided that our people will get rid of the witches and fairies inside the castle while we five were directly headed to the throne room to take care of the leading fuckers.

When we entered the room, people were helping Stella and the fairy king & queen to escape.

We thought it would be best to capture their son and daughter, cause they are all in this together.

Barnabas signaled me to get the daughter of the fairy king and Ric to get the witch queen's son, in the blink of an eye I was standing right next to the princess, as soon I touched her to grab her in a hold and take her to our people which will prevent her from escaping I felt the tingles and sensations which someone feels when they touch their.....MATE.

Her back was facing me, during my shock session she turned around and faced me, I was stood there with my mouth slightly hung open, she was definitely scared cause she looked at me bewildered with the discovery we just made, she felt those tingles too for some seconds I forgot I was in between a war but soon.

I scolded myself for getting distracted when I should be doing my work, we can sort things out after this all ends, I took her hand and made my way out to hand her to our people, struggling to ignore the tingles and to calm my breathing which was for goddess knows what reason starting to get harsh, I managed to get to our people which were hidden in the forest waiting for us if we have to take anybody back to Moonville with us.

I let go off her arm when she whispered.

"Thank you."

"For what?" I asked her feeling puzzled a little.

"For saving me from them." She replied not taking her eyes off of my face.

In return I just gave her a slight smile, the prince which Ric had caught was already with our people, we just have to kill these king and queens, get Harold and return cause if we'll kill the king and queens their people will retreat so it was that.....easy.

Ric and I joined the others again.

Dame, Becca and Barnabas were now dragging the king and queens in the middle of the throne room, the royals guards of theirs were trying to loosen these three's grips on the other three.

When Ric and I exchanged a look and went for the guards, the warlock guard mumbled a spell when I heard Ric growl, making the whole castle boom with it, I just killed the one I had to and rushed for Ric as then I heard him scream and saw him getting on his knees grunting in pain, I took no time in getting to the guard and snapping his neck too.

As I was turning around to help Ric I heard another snap of neck which Ric made as apparently there was another warlock launching himself at me, and Ric saved me just in time.

"That fucker froze my blood." Ric grunted slightly.

Freezing a vampires' blood means instant death cause blood for us vampires works just like heart work for humans so if you freeze the only thing our lives our relying upon then we are doomed, but this can happen to a normal vampire or werewolf or any other supernatural creature, hybrids are safe and so are we, that's why Ric didn't die cause he can't, he's the second next in line and a blood keeper, we don't die this easily.

I bit open my wrist with my canines for him to feed on, we two can't feed our blood to anyone not even anyone in the blood keepers or our mates, because we are the white wolves our blood is rare that's why and for us vampires, drinking blood is the solution to our every problem and illness so after drinking my blood Ric will be as good as new in the matter of seconds.
