Chapter 12

Tyler's P.O.V:

"No, I am going with you all cause I'm fine Austin can stay with Kate she isn't well." Veronica pleaded.

"Okay you can come Roni but be careful." Barnabas warned her and she nodded.

After some minutes we were all seated in our cars ready to go at the cottage where Barnabas' parents are Austin was at home to take care of Kate and all of the rest were headed to the cottage.

After 2 hours we were pulled over in front of the cottage's door. Barnabas knocked at the door few times and went in, both of them were sitting on the couch.

His dad was drinking coffee and his mother was just sitting staring the wall.

Barnabas cleared his throat and said.

"Excuse us but we are here for some chit chat."

His mother looked up at him with teary eyes.

"Can we have a moment with both of you?" Barnabas asked them.

His mother nodded and gestured us all to take seats and we did,

Barnabas sat next to Ric and I.

"So, Sir and Mam I have some questions for you and I would appreciate if you both will cooperate with us." King said.

They didn't say anything so King took it as a yes and said.

"Please tell me everything from the starting, why were you there in the first place and what really happened, I will appreciate honesty."

His mother looked up at him again and started speaking.

"Antonio and I were summoned by Mia, Katherine's mother, some days earlier before we all...left Moonville."

"We met her and and she told us that some days earlier, Harold was gone for hunting near the witch castle and he accidentally crossed their boundaries, they captured him and told him to call his wife Mia, Antonio and me at the witch castle or they will kill our kids." The last words left her mouth as a silent sob.

"They even sent some warlocks to keep an eye on you six when you all were little, we immediately left for the witch castle that day...cause we were not going to let any harm come to our children." She continued.

"When we reached there, we discovered that the castle was already under a spell so we weren't able to shift or do anything, so we hoped to Moon Goddess that everything goes well but it didn't."

"They saw that we can't shift so they threw Wolfsbane on us we screamed in agony but the agony was increased when we saw Harold next to the witch queen Stella, he was at her side this was all a trap, they on the spot killed Mia and caged us both for many years, we stayed there." She said further.

"I think the story was a lie, the story Harold told Mia about accidentally crossing the boundaries and all, it was all a made up lie. He betrayed her, her love and her honest, pure feelings for him." She said looking at her husband.

"We waited and waited for years that maybe someone will come for our rescue but now we understand why it never happened, people thought we abandoned them and ran away from our responsibilities and didn't care about them that's why, I admit it was our fault we were not able to tell anybody about the plan of ours, cause they were threatening us with your lives, so we three left soon after Mia explained us the fake situation of Harold." She finally said.

By the end of Bella's explanation everyone's face had a deadly, stunned expressions.

Barnabas and Ric was standing now, Dame were not seated in the first place, everyone was in pure shock Barnabas looked at Nina to confirm that they are telling the truth.
