lviii. i do not want to fall in love again

29 24 13

But you I do not anymore need,
as me, you never did show heed;
for you have left me under rain in true,
left me to fend for myself in this silly hue;
and so tell me, this need to run away,
does it stem from causing you any dismay;
though it is but too late my heart speaks,
for it is you who holds the answers it seeks;
but unfortunately you have trodden and left,
and now my heart holds on nothing but a cleft;
so begone, before comes the light of dawn;
for over wretched you, I do not want to fawn;
as you have broken me and chained me,
and left me while you bask in your freedom of glee;
and you have captured the contour of my mind,
so for that I cannot ever forgive your kind,
and now my only wish,
is for you to disappear;
for if you come any closer,
I'm afraid my heart would hear;
and I do not want to fall in love again,
with someone who would leave me in pain;
I do not want to fall in love again,
with someone who would leave me insane.
