Wooseok couldn't help but glance at Yuto throughout the rest of the day. After what happened, he couldn't keep his heart rate down. He's never had that feeling before, and it was scaring him a little. He noticed Yuto would glance back at him, when his little friend wasn't paying attention. He used his hair to hide the band aid the other had given him, but when he would think about it, a stupid grin would form on his face.
They had begun to unpack everything for the dance, starting to figure out where things would go. They had an assembly tomorrow, so they wouldn't be able to hang things up. Yuto and his friend seemed to be busy helping people, that Wooseok barely had a chance to talk to him again. His phone buzzed, making him turn around to answer it.
Yanan's voice filled his ears, making him walk away from people. "Wooseok?"
"What's up?" he felt his chest tighten slightly.
"It's Daehyun. He's with Hyojong and Hongseok." Wooseok furrowed his brows.
"What's he want with them?" He could hear Yanan sigh.
"I don't know. I think it might be because of Hyun. but they were messing around with them." Wooseok groaned, looking around. He saw everyone busy with their own thing, so he made his way to the door. He caught eyes with Yuto when he walked out, the others face full of concern.
"Where are they?" Yanan told him, making him start to sprint down the hall. He had gotten halfway there, when the principle came out.
"Where you off to now Mr. Jung." Wooseok sighed, stopping in his tracks. He looked back at him, trying to keep a serious face on.
"I have to go. Like right now." he crossed his arms.
"Why right now?" Wooseok turned to the doors.
"Because it's important." He gave him an annoyed look. "Please, Mr. Lee. i'll stay longer tomorrow, i'll even help with the assembly." He pursed his lips, thinking it over.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Jung. but i've given you too many chances." Wooseok sighed, clenching his fists.
"Please, i swear i'll do anything." He shook his head, grabbing his arm. He dragged him back to the gym, with Wooseok trying to argue. He opened the door, making sure to close it behind him. Wooseok groaned, trying to open the door. The boys had started to stare, wondering what was going on. Wooseok looked around, finding the back door. He ran to it, trying to open it. It wouldn't budge, making him kick it out of frustration.
He took his phone out again, calling Yanan back. The boy answered on the third ring. "Wooseok, what's taking you-"
"I can't make it." he tried to open the door, but it wouldn't work.
"What do you mean you can't make it? Hongseok said he can't hold them off for much longer." Wooseok crouched down, scratching his head.
"I know, i'm sorry. Mr. Lee's being a bitch and keeping me here." he could hear Yanan groan.
"So what?" Wooseok thought about who could help.
"Okay, call...call Seungcheol. Ask him if he could help." He stood up straight, hoping it would work.
"Okay, i swear Wooseok, i'm going to beat your ass when i see you again." Wooseok shook his head, trying not to laugh.
"Okay, fine. Just be careful please. I'll trying to find a way out." he hung up, looking around the room. He saw everyone watching him, so he rolled his eyes. "What? Got a problem?" they all looked away quickly. He found Yuto alone with some things, so he ran to him.
He tried not to remember what happened in class, needing to get out of there as fast as he could. "Yuto." The other glanced up at him.
"That's my name." Wooseok had to bite back a smile. He loved how snarky the other was.
"I need your help." Yuto looked at him, crossing his arms.
"With?" Wooseok looked around.
"I need to get out of here." Yuto raised his brow.
"Why?" Wooseok sighed.
"Because." Yuto rolled his eyes.
"Is it another door?" Wooseok opened his mouth, but smiled instead. He nodded, looking down.
"Yes, it's another door." Yuto pursed his lips, looking away.
"Okay, fine. But you owe me." Wooseok smiled, wanting to pull the boy into a hug.
"Okay, thank you. I'll pay you back later." Yuto rolled his eyes, walking away. He found another door, that was open this time. Wooseok swore Yuto was an angel in disguise. "Thank you. I'll see you later." Yuto nodded, pushing him out.
"Okay, now go before he sees." Wooseok smiled at him, before running out. He ran as fast as he could, hoping Mr. Lee wasn't watching. He finally made it to the place, seeing Yanan and Seungcheol with some other people fighting. He quickly joined, Yanan glaring at him.
"Finally got out?" Wooseok ducked down, smiling up at him.
"Yup." Yanan rolled his eyes, pointing at him.
"I'm still going to kick your ass." Wooseok laughed, shrugging.
"Go ahead." they laughed, going back to what they were doing. They managed to get Hyojong and Hongseok, thanking Seungcheol and his friends.
