A knock on his door made him wake up. His arms were around the big bear Wooseok had won for him a few days ago. His curtains were thrown open, meaning Hyunggu was most likely there. It was a saturday morning, and all he wanted to was sleep. "Wake up, sleepyhead." Hyunggu's cheery voice made him groan.

"What time is it?"

"Nine in the morning." Yuto groaned, pulling the giant bear closer to him. Hyunggu sat next to him, putting his hand on the bear.

"Since when did this get here?" Yuto shrugged, using the blanket to cover him. Hyunggu laughed, pulling it away.

"How'd you get in here?" Hyunggu snorted.

"Your parents aren't here." Yuto furrowed his brows.

"Really?" he nodded. Yuto sighed, going back under his covers.

"Yuto~ come on, I need to talk to you." Yuto raised his brow.

"About?" Hyunggu huffed, crossing his arms. He leaned back, laying against the headboard.

"About things." Yuto sat up, putting the blanket around him. He was interested about what the smaller had to say.

"Things like?" He huffed again, messing with the bears arm.

"Where did this come from? I swear you've never had this." Yuto looked at him, knowing how he got when he was nervous. He didn't know what there was to be nervous about.

"Hyunggu, just talk to me." he glared up at him, shaking his head.

"No, because then...things will change." He raised his brow.

"Change?" he nodded. "Change how?" he groaned, hiding his face in the bear. Yuto didn't know what was going on.

"Well, for one, i'm sorry. I've been a dick to Wooseok even though you said nothing would happen with you two. And two, there's something I need to say but I can't because you won't feel the same-" Yuto stopped him before he got to far.

"Hyunggu, just say it, you know I hate when you ramble-"

"I like you." he said, hiding in the bear. Yuto stared at him, wide eyed. Since when did Hyunggu like me? He's always been a little brother to me, I never knew...he thought.

"You like me?" he nodded.

"These past few weeks i've wanted to say it, but I guess Wooseok was in the way, and I was jealous and now that you said that, I started to think that maybe I should tell you. So today I got up and told myself I was gonna do it. I was hoping it'd be somewhere other than your room where it smells like you haven't cleaned in years-" Yuto scoffed.

"I cleaned the other day." Hyunggu gave him a 'seriously?' kind of look.

"You get my point." Yuto stayed quiet. They sat in an uncomfortable silence that Yuto's never had around the smaller.

"Hyunggu-" he said, Hyunggu already hearing the rejection in his voice. He knew he only talked like this when the girls at school would ask him out. He shook his head, using all the courage he had to look at him.

"I know you don't. But I just needed to say it. I know i've been kind of distant lately, and I thought this would help that. I'm sorry, can we just pretend I never said anything? I don't want what we have to change-" Yuto sighed, cutting him off.

"Me and Wooseok are dating." he knew the other would yell at him. He'd hoped to tell him in a better way, and not have the other slap him, but he thought now was a good time. He could see the heartbreak all over his face. It made his heart hurt, that he hurt his best friend like that. He never thought he'd be in this situation.
