Wooseok was sitting in an abandoned building, Hyojong, Hongseok, Yanan, and Shinwon next to him. He sighed, playing with the book in his hand. Yanan eyed him, knowing something was up with his best friend. "What's wrong?" Everyone turned to him. Even Seungcheol and Jeonghan were there.
"Nothing." Jeonghan snorted.
"Since when are you so quiet?" He rolled his eyes. He didn't really like him, but he was with Seungcheol, and he didn't feel like having to fight his gang of thirteen people. So he put up with him.
"Yeah, something's up." Hongseok sat next to him. He shook his head, trying to avoid saying it out loud. They all stared at him, sort of pressuring him into saying it. He groaned, rubbing his face. He sat forward, rubbing his hands together.
"Can I ask you guys something?" this got all their attention. They all looked at each other, then at him. Even though he was the youngest there, he was sort of the leader of his small group.
"Go ahead." Yanan said. Hongseok rubbed his back, letting him know it was fine to say it. He sighed, looking to Jeonghan and Seungcheol.
"If I...if I wanted to date someone, should I?" they all gasped. He tried not to laugh. Ever since he broke up with this one person years back, he hasn't dated anyone. He was always offered, but he was off the list. Everyone who knew him, knew he was never interested.
"You want to date someone?" Seungcheol asked. Yanan rolled his eyes, turning to him.
"It's Yuto isn't it?" the other two furrowed their brows.
"Who's Yuto?" Jeonghan asked.
"The baseball player." Hyojong said. He was smirking, walking to him. He sighed, wishing he never said anything.
"Maybe. Just forget it." they shook their heads.
"No, tell us. Why does the mighty Wooseok want to date a baseball player?" he rolled his eyes, knowing he shouldn't have said anything. Hongseok pulled him towards him, holding him like a mother would. He ran his hand through his hair, having Wooseok lean on him more.
"Seungcheol?" he sat up straighter. "When you and Jeonghan got together, did you...did you tell him about what you do?" Seungcheol looked to Jeonghan, smiling softly.
"Yeah, I had to. He didn't mind it though, just as long as I stayed out of trouble and kept him out of it." he nodded. "What about this guy? Is he against that?" Wooseok shrugged. He had never told him about what he does, the only thing he knew was that he got into fights.
"I don't know. That one day, when I got into it with Donghyun, he sat with me and made sure I was okay." they smiled softly, Hongseok rubbing his back. He felt like he was back with his mother with him.
"I think, you should go for this guy." Jeonghan said. Wooseok glanced at him, raising his brow. "You should. You have that look of love all over your face. I hadn't seen you smile with anyone that wasn't us until he came in. if you really like him, then try it out. I think you should tell him first though, but if he stayed with you the first time, who's to say he won't do it again?"
He chuckled, pointing at him. "Now I'm starting to like you." he laughed, leaning on Seungcheol.
"So you think I should?" they all nodded. He then remembered his friend, and how he basically hated Wooseok. "But," they all sighed. "He has this friend. And he's so annoying, you can tell Yuto wants to get away from him-"
"So it is Yuto!" Yanan yelled, poking him. Wooseok rolled his eyes, getting out of Hongseok's grip.
"Yanan, shut the fuck up." they laughed, going back to listening to Wooseok. "Anyways, he basically hates me because he think i'm going to hurt him or whatever." Seungcheol bit on his bottom lip.
"I know how that goes. I have a friend, well not really friend but more of a brother, who really liked this other guy. The boy was basically sunshine and rainbows. Anyways, when everyone found out about the two, they did everything they could to break them up. When they finally did, the guy wasn't happy anymore. He's a part of our group now and they're back together. The point is that it doesn't matter who wants you together or not, if you like him, then go for it."
He laughed, the story going on for so long. He thought about it, before nodding. "Okay, I'm going to do it." they all stood, patting his back. Hongseok faked wiping tears.
"My child's all grown up now." They laughed, going back to their eating. When he was laying in bed later that night, he wondered how he was going to ask him. If he even would ask him. A lot of 'what if's came to mind, making him wonder if he really wanted to. He held onto his necklace, almost as if it would tell him.
Dad, i know i don't talk to you much, and i honestly haven't accepted it yet, but i really need your help. I want to know if it'd be a good idea to ask this guy out. I know you didn't care about who i dated, so if you could help me, i'd really like that. He mentally said to his father, hoping something would help him.
