He sat in his room, playing some video game that just been released. His mind was still clouded with the whole Yuto and Hyunggu thing. He knew the smaller liked him, it was obvious with the way he would follow the taller around all day. Even though Yuto had told him he didn't feel the same way, he still couldn't help the way his chest would tighten.
Yanan threw open the door, wondering why it was so dark. "Wooseokie?" he hummed, not taking his eyes off his game. Yanan sighed, going and turning it off. He scoffed, head snapping to him.
"What the hell-" He shook his head, opening all the curtains. He hadn't been outside all weekend, except when he went to Yuto's the other day. Yanan picked up some clothes, throwing some things away.
"Dude, why are you like this? What happened?" he rolled his eyes, not answering. In a week it'll be two years without his dad there, and he usually got into these moods. Yanan shook his head, pulling him up. "Don't start this, this year. It's been two years. He wouldn't want you to be playing video games all day when you have a boyfriend who could use some help." He rolled his eyes.
"You don't know what happened." Yanan glared at him.
"So what? His best friend likes him. He said he didn't like him back. Isn't that a good thing?" he sighed, falling on his bed. "Wooseok, I don't know if this is only about that, but if it's about your dad, you need to talk to someone-"
"I don't need to go to therapy. It happened, and i'm over it." Yanan sighed, sitting next to him.
"Okay, go to school-"
"Fuck school." Yanan sighed, grabbing onto his hand.
"Wooseok-"
"I'm fine. Stop saying I need help. The only thing I need right now is to be left alone." Yanan sighed again, not moving. "I want you to leave." he shook his head.
"Wooseok, it wasn't-" Wooseok groaned, walking out the room. He made his way down the stairs, and into the kitchen. His mother was singing along to a song, making some food. He turned on his heel, walking out the door. Thankfully he had a sweater, his glasses falling down his nose. He pushed them back up, walking down the sidewalk.
His mind filled with so many thoughts, making him want to do whatever to stop them. He had memories from when it happened, and some from the night he was out with Yuto. he thought of those guys and what they could do, and how his father would have showed him how to handle it. He walked around his side of the city for a while, until he thought it was time to go back.
His house smelled the same way it had when his father was there, and for a split second he thought he might be. That he'd walk into the kitchen and see his father with his arms around his mother. But all he saw was his mother talking to Yanan, some food on the table.
He knew it wasn't his fault, but he just couldn't help but put the blame on himself. He didn't eat, instead walked to his room and fell on his bed again. He held the bear Yuto had won in his hands, feeling his eyes water. He closed them, falling asleep with the bear in his arms like it was the other while his necklace felt heavy around his neck.
