Wooseok was carrying Yuto's bag, while their hands were intertwined. His game was going to start soon, and Wooseok didn't know if he wanted to be there. Some people he had history with would surely be there, since word had most likely gone around about the two. He looked over at Yuto, who was busy reading something for school.
He pulled his arm, making his head snap up. He glared at Wooseok, ready to hit him with the book. "Hey! My test in on monday." Wooseok laughed, putting his arm around him.
"Exactly. You have all weekend to study." He groaned, putting his book away. He put his arm around his waist, leaning on him. Wooseok grabbed his hand with the arm that was around his shoulder, so they were still holding hands. Yuto glanced up at him.
"You okay still?" he sighed, looking around.
"I don't know. My mom texted me saying she wanted to talk tonight." Yuto smiled softly.
"Are you gonna go?" He shrugged.
"Ugh, I honestly don't want to." Yuto furrowed his brows.
"Why not?" Wooseok bit the inside of his cheek.
"Because she'll want to go through his things like she always does, and i don't know if I can do that." Yuto nodded, laying back on his shoulder.
"I think you should go. Maybe it'll be good for you." Wooseok sighed, looking down. "Anyways, to change the topic." Wooseok laughed, loving how he always did that. "I'm nervous for the game." Wooseok shook his head, stopping. Yuto looked up at him confused.
He put his hands on his shoulders, smiling at him. "Don't be nervous. I know you'll beat them." Yuto rolled his eyes.
"I know, but still. If I don't win this one, then we won't go to the championships, and then I won't make it into college-" Wooseok laughed, shaking him slightly.
"Yuto, calm down. Why are you worried about college during a game? You'll do as amazing as you always do, and i'll be in crowd cheering for you." Yuto gave him a deadpan stare. Wooseok laughed, letting him go. He took his necklace off, putting it over Yuto's head.
He furrowed his brows more, wondering what was going on. "Wha-"
"This is my good luck charm. It was my dads." Yuto shook his head, trying to take it off. Wooseok grabbed onto his hands, stopping him. "No, wear it. It always helps me, so maybe it'll help you get into college." Yuto glared at him.
"But it's your dads-" he shook his head.
"And now i'm giving it to you. You just have to take care of it." Yuto huffed, wrapped his arms around the taller. Wooseok laughed, hugging him back. It felt weird without it on, but he had a feeling something might happen today, and he wanted to make sure the other would be safe.
They made it to the game, Yuto having to go warm up with Hyunggu. He gave him a kiss goodbye, before bouncing away. Yanan, Hyojong, Hongseok and Shinwon were all sitting down, staring at some people on the other side. Wooseok ran up to them, surprising them. "What's up?" Yanan looked back at him, raising his brow.
"Where your necklace?" Wooseok chuckled, nodding back to Yuto.
"Gave it to Yuto." They all looked at him.
"You gave it to Yuto?" Hongseok asked. He furrowed his brows, nodding his head.
"Yeah, why are you all looking at me like that?" they all looked to each other, then back at him. Hongseok leaned over, checking his forehead. Wooseok batted his hand away, giving them all looks. "What the hell?"
"It's just...You never take that damn thing off." Hyojong said. Yanan nodded, pointing at him.
"You cried because you lost it one time, and it was under your bed." Wooseok rolled his eyes, not seeing the problem.
"I don't see the big deal. I let him use it for now, because he was nervous and I didn't have a good feeling about today." They all stayed quiet, agreeing with the last part.
"We didn't either. That's why we all came." they looked at each other, before making room for him to sit. He sat next to Yanan, looking away. After a minute, Hyojong pointed across the field. Standing over there, staring at them, was Seungjin, Kyung, Ji Hoon, and Jaehyun.
"There here for Yuto, huh?" He asked quietly. Yanan nodded his head slightly, putting his arm around him. "Damn, I only got a few weeks in." They chuckled quietly.
"Sorry, man." Hyojong said. He shrugged, turning to watch Yuto. he didn't want to end things with him, but if it came down to it, he'd rather not have him than have him hurt. They all hugged him, saying it was okay.
They made sure to keep an eye on the guys while the game was going. Thankfully, they haven't tried anything. Yuto would be sat out for a while, so they all were able to relax. When he went out to hit the first time, the guys had started to walk closer.
It wasn't until Yuto had gone out to pitch, that his eyes focused on them more. He was throwing the ball, the boys getting closer. Wooseok stood up, the other four following. He walked down the stands, keeping an eye on Yuto. the boy was too focused on his game to notice.
"Where are we going?" Wooseok shrugged, stopping behind the stands. The group of guys saw, making their way over. They all stood under the bleachers, Wooseok's arms crossed. Seungjin smirked, walking up to him.
"Well, hello Wooseok. Long time no see." he only glared down at the shorter. "Did you come to watch the game?" Yanan leaned forward, telling him to not let him get to him. Wooseok didn't answer, only glared back at the others there. "The pitchers pretty cute, isn't he?" Wooseok stepped forward, having Hongseok grab his arm.
"Don't listen to him." Wooseok pulled his arm free, ignoring him.
"Isn't he yours?" All five of them walked closer, eyes going cold.
"Why do you want to know?" Wooseok asked in a deep, low voice. He smirked, stepping closer.
"Come on, Wooseokie. You know you can't have a pretty boy like that and not expect everyone to know." Hyojong stepped forward, being the same height as the other. The boy stepped back slightly, somewhat scared of him.
"Leave the boy alone. He isn't a part of this." Seungjin laughed.
"He became a part of it the moment he spoke to you." He looked up at Wooseok. The taller pulled Hyojong back, taking his spot.
"If you so much as talk to him, I will-" Seungjin laughed, shaking his head.
"You'll what? Kill me?" Wooseok clenched his jaw, wanting to punch the boy right then and there. "You think we won't get to him? What do you thinks happening right now that your under here?" Wooseok felt his heart jump. He turned on his heel, sprinting back out. The others stayed, knowing it was just a game to see how much he cared.
He had just finished getting a batter out, the crowd cheering. No one was around him, meaning it was all a game. He sighed, knowing he'd lost already. "Thanks." Seungjin said. He turned, walking up to him again. "Now we now how much he means to you. Take my advice: leave him. Or the moment you try to pull some shit on us, we won't go after you or your boys. We'll go after him."
He shoved him, making the other laugh. He shoved him back, until they were getting ready to fight. "You leave him out of this. He doesn't deserve it." Yanan ran to him, holding him back. He smirked at him, pointing his finger.
"Be careful, Wooseok." he rolled his eyes. "I'll be telling Hyun."
