Inspector Ethan pov
"Is that possible?" mutters Mrs Edwards who was standing in front of me all in confusion.
"I have no idea." I reply all puzzled as I stare over at her while holding my brown hair flustered.
I quickly bend down and grab the tape in the video caset and mrs Edwards gazes wondering at my sudden action. I face her and say solemnly, "I'll have this with me and keep it as evidence."
she gazes at the tape which is on my left hand secured. "That tape I need it." She exclaims as he points at the tap.
Why does she want this tape? What's her intentions with it? I'm so skeptical about everything.
"No it's crucial evidence in this investigation and I'll have it with me at the police station, after my investigation maybe you'll have the tape back as you wish." I say as I now begin to walk towards the door.
"Mrs Edwards thanks for your help you've been helpful. We'll rebuild your library but don't inform anyone about this tape or what is in it." I tell her in a demanding voice as I turn around somehow remembering.
I had to tell her not to tell anybody until I get grace, Camilla and especially Jakes statement. This can't be possible, I mean he must explain why he did that? And how he did that in the first place.
"What are you saying to me inspector! How do you expect to me not to tell anybody about what's in that tape ." she replies quickly as she exhales.
I stare at her and she stares back seeming fazed.
"That kid is not normal, Jake miller has done something phenomenal and supernatural. No Homan being can do that. We need to inform the government about this they will know what to do with him." she continues speaking as she walks closer to me.
Informing the government is something huge. If she does i won't proceed with my investigation and I'm afraid they'll do things to those kids unimaginable, unthinkable and inhuman.
"I know you're shocked and confused, I'm also shocked and confused but this is police property and when I get answers I'll let you know and then we'll inform the government." I say calmly to her and she doesn't seem satisfied at my statement
"Fine I'll do as you please but I'll inform the FBI after you're done with your own investigation." She blares out while biting her teeth.
