Chapter 24

Inspector Ethan POV
I'm waiting patiently in the elevator for the elevator door to open. I look up the wall and see a small white camera at the corner. I'm trembling and utterly nervous, this place contains cameras. Can this whole situation get any worse.

My palms, armpits and forehead get sweaty, yeah that's what always happens when I'm nervous sweat fills my whole body.

The door suddenly opens startling me a bit. I head into a huge hallway with plenty of white doors and I stare below I spot a huge brown carpet and then above was a white ceiling board with small chandeliers.

I'm starring all around me flustered and dumbfounded. This place doesn't just look like a normal summer school. It's odd to be a summer school.

"Inspector Ethan..." I'm startled as I hear the voice behind me. I quickly turn and see a man dressed in a white suit and now I can actually see this suit up close. The suit has a cream white look and it's got gray strips in the sides that run from the legs-bottom to the hands-top and At the chest area contained a white zipper.

"Are you inspector Ethan?" He asks startling me and snapping me from the fanciful.

"Hmmm-aaah yeah I am..." i quickly reply to his question and now I'm starring at the dude and his looking so intimidating.
His so big and Buffy, where do they get these guys? I mean they are always big and Buffy with deep sonorous voices.

He quickly walks in front of me as he says, "come with me..."
I also quickly follow behind him as I exclaim obviously nervously, "ok...okay..."

His walking at a quick pace and behind him struggling to cope with his pace. I'm also thoroughly starring around and the walls are infested with cameras. Dame this I'm now realizing was a bad idea.

We've been walking through the straight long hallway and with his pace I'm meticulously getting tired. He takes me to the end of the hallway and at the end was a huge door. He walks over to the door and knocks a couple of times.

Without even permission

He opens the door and walks in and I walk in right behind him. The room is extremely big and at the wall was a huge transparent glass making you see the whole city. Literally the whole small town of Danville being seen at this spot.

Right next to the huge transparent glass in the center of the room was a huge glass transparent table and two chairs in the sides. Benjamin Carson is sitting at the other end and his facing the huge transparent glass wall.

"Sir I've brought your guest.." the deep voiced man exclaims sending shivers up my spin. Benjamin Carson meticulously turns around with his chair. His now starring at me with a grin, a huge piffle grin and I'm simply starring back as I swallow hard.

His eyes are now directed at his guard and he waves his hand gesturing his guard to bounce.

His guard quickly gets on his heels and leaves us alone and shuts the door closed behind him causing an echo.

Benjamin Carson stands up and begins to speak, "inspector Ethan why are you afar come closer, don't be afraid." Wow it's been a while since I heard that sonorous voice.

I now move closer obeying to his orders. His got his eyes on me and his got the same grin, I'm starring back at him but now I'm starring from head to toe. His wearing a black suit and a red neck tie showing off his red shirt inside his black jacket.

He asks while turning around and starring at the transparent glass wall which shows the whole city "how may I owe this visit?" Snapping and startling me all at once.

I reply starring at his back, his broad back, "hmmm I decided to visit you today because well you've heard of what's been happening in this town, In your town."
