Inspector Ethans p.o.v

I hear a loud Honk of cars outside the police station and it was really loud starling everybody in the station. It's literally early in the morning and usually this police station wouldn't have cars honking and coming.

Today I'm came very early because I must begin the investigation of what really happened yesterday night in the library.

I quickly walk towards the window and see a black limousine and 5 other vans behind it arrived at the police station.

This early in the morning why would someone come to the police station and in such a dramatic way. It must be some rich guy. Indeed he must have influence.

I'm standing alone at the window watching.

A man dressed in a black suit, who has brown hair that is slightly turning white in the front has come out of his limousine and Other man in brown suits who come out of the vans followed him behind while he enters in the police station.

The guys behind him look like his bodyguards. I'm simply assuming.

I am not gonna let him see me standing by the window watching him like a creep. That would be awkward.
So I immediately run to the front and pretend like I was doing something else.

When he enters everyone in the station stands up including all the officers. What's happening? Whose this man? And why are they all standing for him as though his the boss?

*I was confused who this man who arrived was and moreover why everyone in the police station stood immediately he stepped in.*

I'm new in this town and I had no idea who this man is. He appeared to be in his late 40s.

I look at Paul balton Camillas Older brother and he looks rather confused but why?
Lucie just seems shocked or surprised.

But when I turn and look
at synthia she looks scared and frightened.

I've Known synthia for a long time and she never gets afraid unless it's something personal.
It seems like she has seen a ghost.
She's Looking around, She is trembling and shaking.

I quickly turn around and walk towards the man who has just arrived.
I'm the inspector I have to talk to him and moreover I'm in charge here.

*But this man looks familiar like I've seen him on a billboard of this town or I've seen him in the town newspaper.
Better I've seen him on TV*.

As i got closer I could remember him and where I've seen him

His the mayor of this town.

Danvilles founder and he runs this town.
I remember I read the newspaper and he was on one of the top headlines.

I walk towards him and now I'm facing him. His guards look scary but I played it cool.

"Welcome to the police station sir, may I assist you?" I ask while staring at the mayor whose looking very intimidating. I mean he is, his the flipping mayor of this town.
